I am actually starting to like this "Turn back the pendulum" chapters more than the fighting ones. It is awesome to see what all the characters were 100 years ago.I was really surprised by Mayuri's appearance as an inmate. It really sparks my imagination.

I think that if you line up the chapter numbers all the way to -1 and 0, you'll see maybe Aizen organizing for Rukia to go into the physical world. ;0This is just a guess.

I don't think the flashback will be very long. at most 10 chapter.why? It is said in the first flashback, the past is show, not too much just enough for us to know. so I think in the future, there will be a continue flashback

well im still just watching the anime so im only on the part where it talked about grimmjows past, so anyways the part of the anime i really liked was when all those shinigami went to school it was really funny to watch exspecially ikkaku with his wooden sword

I think 10 chapter is fairly long for a flash back..I guees it's mostly 5 chapter or less

I think that no matter how long this flashback migh be, it is really interesting to get to know the past of the characters than just having new characters that we do not know anything about

I would actually prefer if the flashback kept going for at least 10 more chapters. This is interesting, and I don't think that all the background of characters can be explained in 5 chapters or so.I hope that they will show how Vaizards became what they are, and that alone would require 2-3 chapters

I am also disappointed, so Hisagi copied the 69 tattoo from the captain of his soon-to-be Squad... Doesn't tell us what the actual significance of that number is now does it.

Could it be that this is Aizen's Kyouka Suigetsu? It has a hypnosis ability after all, and the zanpakutou appearing in the last few pages shows that the culprit is either a shinigami or shinigami-hollow. The only thing is, what's causing the shinigami to disintegrate? One of Aizen's hollow experiments?If it is Aizen, I'm looking forward to the role Urahara plays in the next chapter. He's the only character shown to be sharp enough to challenge Aizen's wits.

Perhaps Kensei simply liked it that way. Anyway, The flashback chapters rock! Naruto is great and all but the flashbacks in naruto are boring and pointless. The flashbacks in bleach are awesome because they reveal the answers of some serious questions.
