Yeah, but every other captain change I know of was either due to death in battle, retirement or promotion, so I get the feeling that it's a Kenpachi tradition to fight to the death before getting the previous Kenpachi's (who's always the 11th division captain) title. It would be interesting if Isshin was the exception to the rule, but something tells me that he was the captain of the other division who's captain wasn't present (10th) in the Urahara promotion ceremony. Man the four originals just keep outliving everyone don't they? They were all there before Urahara's people and the Vizards, and are still there now.

Yup. It's confirmed that Genryuusai, Shunsui and Juushirou were founder and founding members respectively, and Unohana's been a captain for at least 200 years that we know of.What's striking about Unohana too is that her sword release, which is as of yet unidentified as a shikai or bankai in the manga, was placed under shikais in the Bleach Advance game. I would have to agree with this.. i watched the subs for ages and checked out the dubbed ones.. they're not as bad as some dubbed shows but... yeah doesnt seem quite right.i think i'll go with sub lols. the feeling is there.. dubbed sounds awkward.

Yeah, things have been getting interesting lately, and they're probably only going to get better both in the flashback and the present. I agree about the manga being better, especially with the quality of the artwork. They're probably going to do it now that Urahara's arrived. Could be something to do with Aizen getting his hands on the Hougyoku, which is why Urahara decided to hide it in Rukia, and the rest is history. Well, actually these flashbacks are history, but anyway.

I don't think the manga says anything about it being sealed immediately, so I think it's a possibility. From the way Aizen was explaining it to Ichigo, it seemed like he had found out about the Hougyoku, then it was sealed, then it took him a long time to realize that it was in Rukia.Anyway, next chapter will probably clear things up either way.wait that impossible i think. if that the case, then the theory about Urahara seal it immediately after creating it is wrong. chances are

I don't know, maybe I'm forgetting something, but I think they'll clear things up in the next chapters.

He did mention it. Anyway obviously this method doesn't create Vizards, judging by Kensei they still have a lot of work to do themselves otherwise how would they know what ichigo needed to do to overcome his Hollow. With the Hougyoku the process appears to be immediate.

Well, if he has, it beats me, Urahara and Tessai get away and somehow team up with Yoruichi, Shinji and the others all gain control of their Hollow forms hundred years later Yamamoto is still none the wiser about Aizen. I dunno how he did it but seems clear that he didn't leave Urahara any openings.

I've noticed that with almost every dubbed anime series the voices are really bad. Subbed is just the best. Plus you get to understand Japanese

I prefer english version. I could care less if less if the voices are good or not. I just want to understand it and not have to read subtitles. Subbed titles make me sleep for some reason.

I really really liked the turn back the time miniseries, since now we finally know why Kisuke left SS. Plus this confirms at least 4 Bankai among the Vizard(Shinji, Love, Rose, Kensei), and there's more about Kyouraku too! The more Bankai the better lol.
