i dont play on my ps2 much now i have a dsbut i got singstar not long ago and have started playing it again its good to get back into your old games aswell

I still Play my ps2 even though I have all systems except PS3. I Love my Wii but i find myself playing my DS more often

One thing i like about Sony over Microsoft and Nintendo is that they still support their legacy systems even after a new system has been released. Case in point: 4 months after the PS3 was released, Sony released one of the greatest games for the PS2 God of War. Four months after the Wii was released (heck 4 days after the Wii was released) Nintendo had canceled any Gamecube game that was in existence and instead ported them over to the Wii. Case in point: Super Paper Mario was originally supposed to be a GC game (I mean think about it... how does it really take advantage of the Wii remote... it doesn't! An afterthought because it is just a port.) Same thing with Microsoft, they dropped any support for the Xbox as soon as the 360 came out. It doesn't make sense to me. Why don't these other companies support their older systems if their new systems are backwards compatible and they already have such a huge installed base of older systems? So in answer to the question, yes I still play my PS2 because there are still awesome games being made and released for the system.

I'm not interested by new consoles, there are to expensive for the games on them. I still play to Resident Evil Outbreak 2, Battlefield 2, GTA San Andreas and a lot more on my PS2. I'm actually waiting for a new DBZ game coming soon.

Well considering the fact that ps3 sales are bombing, i htink i'll stick with my ps2slim, and wait til the price starts dropping and games i like start coming out, THEN i will stop playing the ps2, unless i get the sudden urge to play oldies again, like my psx

I still play my ps2 since my ps1 finally died i use it for my old ps1 games and still got new ones i have finished for it and several to get Wild Arms 5 comes out soon. And too poor to buy a 600 dollar paper weight

I always play my PS2 in my spare time, haha. That, or the Nintendo DS. I pretty much DL everything else. It saves me money.

Right now I still play my PS2 because I'm too poor to buy a PS3. I might get a Wii soon, but it won't be the same. I'm really addicted to the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors games, as well as the Suikoden games, so I think I'll keep my PS2 around until PS3 comes down to like $300 or less. I'm actually on my fifth PS2 now since the first 3 got stolen and #4 died after a power surge.

i heard that the ones that came out first had backwards combatibility, but since sales are going down for sony, they took out the parts for that and replaced it with more memory for the newer models.Not sure myself, but that's what i heard.lol my psx is starting to slow down........the open button doesn't work anymoreHaha, I was just going to ask about that. I've played FMA: Broken Angel, Disgaea and Dark Cloud -- and that's just the past 24 hours.I play PS2 everyday. ^^ It's great! And I'll still play the PS2 games when I get a PS3.
