Eventhough the graphics are poor, but th storyline is the best from all Final FAntasy games (for me..). Tifa is cute too and the most sad part is we lost Aeris.. She is a good white mage. I hope Enix Square will make a Final Fantasy Advent Children game for GBA

Final Fantasy 7 is always going to be the best, no matter what. I have the new Final Fantasy 12, that means i have one through the new 12, so i have all of them i have beaten them all, and i say, Seven is the best, i don't think anyone can disagree, because of the storyline, sephiroth is just fing awsome, can't beat vincient, Cloud is just tight, Tifa is awsome, Yuffi kinda makes it gay though.

i think for ps3 they should do a final fantasy 7 enhanced versionwhere the storyline is the same but the graphics are so enhanced and much cooler :Plike say KotR and Bahumet summons giving them new graphics would be coolall of clouds swords are the best

I think they should make some gamecube games again and remake all final fantasy games for the gamecube. It's not fair to people who don't own a ps2 that they only make FF games for PS systems.

Basically the story of FFVII was amazing because it was always interesting. To complete the whole game requires a lot of time and it kept you involved. There are too many elements why someone would actually like the game you need to play it to find out. To me its still the best game ever..

If so many people love it, I guess they find this game to be very intereting by its storyline, characters and everything else. And maybe it's so respected, because it's the first FF game with 3d grafics.

Like others have said, its the storyline. Theres been alot of other games related to FFVII which game out like Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children (movie), Crisis Core...Haha, just looking at the damn big sword with a thin handle...I can't figure out how it doesn't snap off like a cricket bat swung-too-hard...even if its got a super-material in it...and even so, you would get so much pain in the wrist by handling it

I loved final fantasy VII because it was my first console game. That aside I really love the materia system, it is by far my favorite magic/enhancement system used in any game.

FF7s battle system is the best iv encountered far better than 8 and its potline is just sooo good with you thinking aeris is gonna live and then sephiroth kills her and youv gotta go and get the black materia back its just great

Can anyone say the Limit breaks were godly! Like Cloud's Omnislash superb i got that in disc 1 
all the bosses got owned so hard the limit break i really wanted through the whole game was Aeris Great Gospel but Sephiroth jus had to kill her! Why couldn't he take Cait Sith!

The story line, the gameplay (materia was AWESOME! Something they should bring back) and the (at the time) revolutionary graphics.

Definitely couldn't have stated it better myself.... must i give reasons? *sighs* fine. here are the best reasons why final fantasy 7 is what it is.1.) Plot.2.) Unforgetable characters.3.) First Final Fantasy game to use full 3d in battles AND GC4.) Giant-ass swords. Gotta love them giant-ass swords that are wieldable with one hand.5.) Tifa. Need I say more?6.) The very end of disc 2, where......
I think there is a PSP remake in the works. I remember reading something somewhere. Check it out. (I've played it of course)But, It seems Final Fantasy VII's story is ONLY about saving the earth from mako energyAnd beside FF VIII Has more complex story that made me excited!!I Still don't understand though...But my friends told me so too...So kinda like it by force you know...But really i like it a lot I will even like it if vincent was even stronger

Being their first step onto the playstation let them have such a long game with so many bonus stuff to do and play through.Different story, almost, depending on the central party you choose.Sweet characters heroes (cloud,vincent, cid) and villains (sephiroth, weapons, turks)Amazing musical scoreIncredible use of chocobos was implemented for the game, loved itchallenging but not impossiblelikely discover something new every time you play itKORLimits are one of the sweetest final fantasy ideas everSo much cool stuff
