I think all the characters had something to like about them. Even Amarant, who pretty much parachuted into his scene joining the party was alright once you got to know him. As for favourite, it used to be Eiko for me. Now, it's Garnet.

I'd go for Garnet - no, not Dagger; I prefer her in the pretty white princess dress rather than the drab orange costume she spends so long in. I wish there was an option to have her in the party with the royal dress - that would have been awesome.That said; almost all characters were well crafted in FF IX; except for (imo) Quina who I saw little merit in having (if comic relief was what they were after; I would've preferred it if Cinna got a bigger role).

Oh man, its been a while since I've played ff9.Vivis innocence is nothing but likable. And since hes a Wizzy, with his pro magic skills.Good to have in battle, AND a pretty likable character.Beatrix, too, because she's good looking. And she uses a sword.Mmmmhmm!
