hmm well, they use 3-4 defense, which means they get 3 linemen, and 4 linebackers...in the past(last year) i noticed that the pats LOVE to use their linebackers inevery way, and can/will change what that linebacker does before the play begins using audibles. this was basically used for confusing the offense. they also mainly use the linemen for opening up holes for the linebackers, who almost wait for a hole to open, so they can make a play. this often results in linebackers getting the most attention on the defensive side of the ball, hence why all you hear about the patriots defense id theyre linebackers.

i heard this one somewhere...but i thought it was about bill parcells.anyways on madden, all the coaches in the league except for bill belichick are part of some program, i forgot what its called, but they license the game, and bill decided not to join them in the madden experience. why you ask? well, he thinks video games are the DEVIL and because of religios beliefs, he wont sign with them.

In the Madden NFL video game series his name is not used and is known as "NE Coach" because he is not a member of the NFLHCA (NFL Head Coaches Association), which licenses the game. Belichick is the only NFL head coach who has chosen not to join the association. This also applied to Bill Parcells when he was Dallas Cowboys head coach because his contract with ESPN prohibited it.

so as we can see, it also applied to Parcells because of his contract with ESPN, but now he is with Miami and has a new contract. The group he is not a part of is the NFLHCA, he isn't in it for personal reasonscorrect...kinda, ill give you 3 ptsscoreboard:2) Bulls.On.Parade-37---------->Hall of Famer1) 33-buck shot-33-31--------->Super Bowl MVP3) norby1-26-------------------->Super Bowl Champion4) shuda-21--------------------->Super Bowl Starter5) behindthenine-17------------>Pro Bowl MVPT-6) draex21-10---------------->Pro Bowl WinnerT-6) Dannyslr81-10------------->-----^8) penguinruler82-6------------->Pro Bowler9) nayer-5----------------------->Starter10) pwnageEX-4------------------>BackupT-11) stfn69x-3------------------>3rd StringT-11) Pawa-puro-kun-3--------->---^T-11) Evelgest-3----------------->---^14) amusingtugboat-2----------->Practice Roster15) asthmaman2000-1---------->Free Agentteam:New England PatriotsNew Orleans SaintsNew York GiantsNew York JetsOakland RaidersPhiladelphia EaglesPittsburgh SteelersSan Diego ChargersSan Francisco 49ersSeattle SeahawksSt. Louis RamsTampa Bay BuccaneersTennessee TitansWashington Redskinslast pats question:what is the average age of the Pats' defensive unit?worth 4 pts

im goin to throw this out there. i know they have some pretty old linebackers, and their linemen arent exactly young... ok this on is really hard. do want the average age of EVERY player? or just the starters?EDIT: w/e ill just give you the starters avg. theres a few young guys, and a few old guys, but overall, id say its about 28.
