I like the sound, but sometimes ill play without the sound so my battery lasts longer.

No i don't care about the sound.Why: Because it's terrible quality. Compare remakes to original games. Sound on the original is greatly better.

I don't even usually listen to the sound when I play my GBA, except for Harvest Moon. It's a bit repetitive, but the music is good. Most of the music isn't very good for gameboy games, though.

Sound adds a lot to game and makes it more engaging- the GBA needs headfones to get half way decent sound

not really ... some really old games are like pixellized with what we consider horrible sounds today but they're still so much fun =D

It depends...if I'm playing an RPG I want the sound to be good, otherwise it doesn't really bother me.

I think that it matters wat game you play. Some games have a nice beat to it so i like to play it with the sound on .. but others just annoy the heck out of me so i will turn off the sound and turn on a band on my comp to play as the background music.. lol works nice cause then im listening to something i enjoy.

Oh yes, the sound is a big PLUS in a game. But if I don't like the sound I can just turn it off anyway. Anime-style games usually have great in-game music, so I turn it on most of the time.

it depends, if is a horror survivor, music will bring into the environmentbut most of the time i will preffer turn off the sounds, and listen the song of avril lavigne instead

Yeah, a lot of games don't have great sound. I usually play with the volume down.

I usually have my sound low or off or listening to other music but i like to listen to game music some time so yeah sometimes good sound does matter
