I usually just leave the sound on cause i don't really care about the sound quality.

when i am playin my emulator i mute the sound and play music the reason i do this is the emulator speed is always changing so the sound is chopy

Music has always been an important part of the game for me. It helps pull me into the game more, and may influence whether I like the game or not more than graphics.

Well, I prefer playing games with sound it's much better. But when I'm playing on my cellphone emu a doesn't have any choice.. Symbian 7.0 emulators just don't emulate sound. :<

I don't really like the sound on, sometimes it can be kind of annoying. I tend to leave it on a low level when I'm playing the actual console, but for emulators I just turn it off and play some of my own music.

Whether I listen to the sound or not depends on my mood. If i'm in a good mood, I'll have the sound on ONLY if it is good.

Ugh gameboy adv sound gives me a headache so I usually turn it off, while listening to other music. Rise against ALL the WAY!

For some games, like LTTP and some Pokemon games, I like the sound, so I keep it on, but for some, it is just distracting and annoying.
