I always have my sound off. Unless I know there's great music somewhere. Good thing I have headphones :P

I always play with the sound on no mater how bad the music is. Just so i can get the full effects of the game.

Really it depends. There are some catchy tunes on some of the GBA I play. Others, the game could be have been done w/o it.

most games have really bad sounds or annoying sounds such as pokemon. Though there are some great sounds on some games, such as the Fire Emblem games, and parts of Final Fantasy. I usually play sound off though, I figure it burns batteries, and if I do need sound I can just listen to my ipod or cd player.

Very rarely I find a game where the sound is an actual plus. There's only one that I'm playing at them moment that I'll turn the sound on, and usually I don't because I'd rather listen to music or something.

Depends on the game. If it's one of the Classic Zelda's, then yeah, nothing quite like a bit of retro midi! but pokemon music just get a bit...irritating after a while. i only ever turn it on if it's an importaint battle or something. otherwise, off. i usualy listen to other music whilst i'm playing

I turn the sound off whenever I play because it just distracts me and usually the sound is very annoying.

In truth a game with no sound can be pertty boring..cause well its just your starring at a screen and pressing buttons, no form of like inaction really besides seeing the screen do something cause you press a button. Even more so if its a game you need sound for cause of a puzzle or something long those lines.
