I never listen to my music. I usually have whatever Media player I'm using up, and use my own music.

Not so important on GBA games because I usually play without sounds on (especially when playing at night) and GBAs sound system isnt that advanced so the sound quality is not that good (characters rarely talk on the games).

For some reason, all video game sounds annoy me to no end... the only game I've been able to even tolerate it in are the Gran Tourismo games... probably because of the fact that it helps to hear when your tires aren't getting traction.. but otherwise sounds annoy me. Especially the mono sound in handheld consoles.I'd rather listen to some real music that was made on an instrument and not a computer.

One the first things i pay attention to in a game is the music and the sound effects. Games like Golden Sun, Metroid Zero Mission, Fire Emblem and Final fantasy were all good but the reason i loved them was they all had great music.

definitely. music is one of the biggest aspects of playing a video game to me since i play mainly for the storyline. if i didn't want sound, then i'd just go read a book instead.it irks me when game developers use the same repetitive songs over and over again in a game's soundtrack. variety is the spice of a game's music life.

i must say im not a fan of listening to 8 bit audio tracks that are more annoying than anything, so i usually play my gba games with either no sound or with my own music playing in the background
