i prefer subs, except for cowboy bebop and fullmetal alchemist, the english voices for those shows are the best i've heard.

Sometimes , when it's english dubbed , the whole anime gets ruined and there 's no feeling to it . But , when it's japanese voice w/ subtitles , it 's better .

The original is way better. English dubs sound too cheesy and just don't fit with the characters. Japanese sounds much better than english dubs in anime.

The japanese voices go better with the character, and plus in the dub they give the character stupid catchphrases like "Believe It".

Dubs sound horrible. Like they hire pornstars to voice characters (check out the trailer for the Lucky Star dub). The voices are very artificial and forcefully softened and high pitched to sound Japanese-like.

Eh , there ARE some dub voices that are o-kay . But overall a lot of dub voice actors are jst n00bs -____- & even though I barely understand a word they`re saying , Japanese voices have a lot more expression with their voices , so you can relate & feel more empathy for the characters / situation . So yeah , Japanese subs all the way =)

I like jap with subs better because all there emotions and expression is right as for dub it's weird and it don't go well with the anime

subbed is definitely better. you can't beat the originals. english voice actors usually lack the understanding of japanese culture, making dubs sound odd.

Subtitled. Some may doubt it, but you can learn some [japanese] from the subs.

I prefer Japanese dubs with subtitles... Because its what the original chaarcters sound like and that way is better<3 Its also good if you want to learn Japanese~!When I buy an anime DVD I always watch it with this setting ^-^

english dubbing is pretty bad..... japanese language does not work well if translated in englishfor example "Arigato gozaimasu" translates to something like "Thank you so very much" but who in their right minds would say that in english? (no offense meant if you actually say that ^^)

Japanese with subs forever. The japanese were the one who created and made the anime, they are clearest about what voices to use for the characters. Sometimes the dubbing can really kill a person's character in an anime....
