Japanese voice of course. Like the others said, the English voice is freakingly horrible (sometimes). The Japanese voice is more original and you dont have to hear some of the quotes which wre changed. :)

what makes english dubs so bad besides sounding cheesy would be the graphic editing, like blood or clothes. another problem is that there are only certain jokes that are funny in japanise, like this one from naruto,Posted Imagein the dubbed version he said "im sorry I have a cold"...this one is funny because base ball is big in japanPosted Imagethis is just my opinion though...

i dont mind either one is good. i would only listen to the japanese voice with subtitles if the english dub voices sound stupid.

And 80% of the time, that's exactly what the case is. For example, my fav. anime, Sailor Moon, was a nice anime, but solely due to the poor quality dub it flopped in the US. XD However, Animax redubbed some anime shows, which were pretty good (such as YuYu Hakusho, InuYasha). They were almost as good as the real thing. :D

Definitely Japanese audio with english subs. Not only the original voices usually sound better but this way you can also learn more about the japanese vocabulary and culture.

Usually I pick whichever one fits the show better. So really, it all depends on what show it is...

I tend to lean toward watching it in Japanese with English subtitles. The one exception I have seen was Hellsing Ultimate. Though some scenes were off by translation (subs) they actually made it not only work, but they made it humorous.(Favorite English DUB scene: "Up, Up...Down, Down...Left, Right, Left, Right. Bringing the mother-f***ing death by Konami.")

Honestly it depends on which one I see first. With Tsubasa Chronicle I have to watch it with subtitles, with Slayers I can go either way, though I prefer not having to read while watching. But with Fullmetal Alchemist I have to watch dubbed.

I like Japanese voice with subtitles, however, some English DUB is better than the SUB.

I'm a dub fan, but that's in part because I have eye problems, and when I sit down to watch a TV show, I don't sit down to read. I sit down to watch - usually to laugh my butt off. Of course, since most of what I watch is either old eps of Digimon Adventure, old eps of Yu-Gi-Oh!, old eps of Pokemon, or old eps of Dragon Ball *, I think it makes sense.

It's not neccessarily about "original voices" for me, it's about how much the voices suit the characters... FullMetal Alchemist, InuYasha and YYH Animax dub... they're the dubs I can live with. :)
