Japanese subs are better, I like the Japanese voices. It's cute listening to different accentsBut doesn't the English dub somtimes cut some scenes out? It sucks when that happens.

I like them both. Japanese w/ sub when I'm watching intently. English when I'm half-assively watching. And there are good English dubs out there, it just depends on what it is. Sometimes the subs are so bad you have to watch it in English though... =\

DUB. It gets boring reading subtitles after a while. I find myself reading more than watching.

I like Japanese with subs, Dub always (most of the time) change wording and make things sound horrible (believe it!)

I prefer Japanese voice with subtitles for two reasons:1- voices sound much better2- you can tell how names are supposed to be pronounce

I'd rather have english subs with japanese voices, it's a very big differance and somehow stuff don't get lost in the translation to english. Exampel: watched Pokemon when I was younger (Who's that Pokemon?) and I didn't even realise how much the swedish translators lost from the english translators that lost even more from the japanese.

This is what I hate....when people see dub and go and hiss at it. I say give a dub a chance before you hate it.Subs are nice cause most of the time the japanese voice is more natural, but looking at the bottom of the screen all the time prevents you from actually watching the anime. As in watch, I mean to look at the details of any scene of the anime. Dub companies are getting better at dubbing in my opinion.

Honestly i prefer the subtitles because the anime keeps the original voices, besides the doubles voices are'nt good as the original ones

It depends on what ya watching really.I mean, if I stumble across a dubbed clip or episode of Bleach then it makes me want to crawl into a bush and die.I think it's because I'm so attatched to all the characters, the voices coming from their lips are not theirs.Besides, would Bleach Beat Collections have been released if their voices didn't make you melt?Whilst on the other hand, I have only watched Ouran High School Host Club in dubbed, and I think the voices are fantastic. They are well suited to each character, and the sound actors really sound professional.

I prefer watching anime with Japanese voice and English subs... The feeling just isn't right when I watch anime that are dubbed in English. It gets me annoyed with the anime and it totally ruins the anime for me.

whenever i hear english dub, it's so cheesy i want to gag!! lol but when i first listened to japanese voice with subtitles, it was pretty awkward until i realized how natural it was compared to eng dub. plus you can learn a few words here and there!

Definitely Jap voices with Eng subs! The dubs are just...weird. The tone of the dubbers sounds really fake to me. The only dubbed anime I ever watched and feels it's okay is Pokemon :gs:

Japanese with subs. Gives me a chance to pick up some Japanese words while keeping with the originality.English dubs... lack the enthusiasm Japanese ones have.

Japanese with subs definitely, dubbing it with any other language ruins it totally. I also get to learn a few japanese words on the way. Also I agree with he above poster, english dubs lack ethusiasm lol.

I have to admit I'm bias for anything not english dub mostly in undersatnding the langauage without looking at the subtitle while watching the show is tricky at times.

I prefer Japanese voice with subtitles because the dubbing loses much of the meaning of the dialoguesmaking the plot hard to understand and the voices are horrible.

Almost always I prefer Japanese + subtitled anime but there are a few instances when I consider a dub to be superior to the original (DBZ, Rurouni Kenshin, YuYu Hakusho).
