it must have a good adventure and storyline......good Graphics ( on some games) and somewhat kinda 3d graphics

decent length and/or replayability so it doesn't become a "play once and toss" game, good gameplay (ie meaningful challenge without becomeing an excersise in frustration to take a step, preferably with some ability to "build up" or otherwise decrese the difficulty without just hitting the "easy" button or cheating, examples being picmen where you can go around getting more troops or a couple of the fire emblems where you could go on sideline quests to level up) and enough storyline to hold things togeather.

i LINE WITH UR POST!!!!!

I mainly look for Graphics and Gameplay, but after playing Max Payne 2, im all into Storyline now. But im probably the most picky person there is when it comes to gaming. I love FPS, love to have 'Crysis' or better graphics, playable character whos an elite special forces, character model must be stunning especially the body armour, many weapons that look and work good, photorealistic eg COD 4, Fast paced like very! COD 4. and if its possible a stunning storyline with many twists and turns. Too bad im not going to get such game in a few more years. Closest so far is Metal Gear Solid 4!

agreed with idiotflesh. Be specific what type of game are we talking about here? narrowing down the genre of game will let me give you a definite opinion. RPG? FPS? Strategy?

I like all games, however, they have to be challenging. And capable of keeping my interest. I like everything fom city building to war games and anything in between. Graphics never need to be perfect if the game is interesting.

For me, it comes down to the story line. That can make or break a game for me. For example, Half Life (The Original) completely sucked me in to playing the first few levels until it started getting really weird. The story line of a game needs to build and be believable through out the whole thing. I ended up never finishing Half Life because the story line got way out of control. It was just too far fetched. I couldn't take it anymore.

I'd love to have something kind of like the manga 1/2 Prince. Without the real feelings, of course. :foldarms:It's kind of just levelling up, getting pets, being able to make contact with other people. And of course, make the graphics look good! But as long as the whole game is interesting, I'm able to play it without much boredom.

There are two levers for moving men, interest and fear.
Men are more easily governed through their vices than their virtues.

The story and plot must be a main focus and originality is considered the most, replayability is also an important factor and lastly graphics.

i look for good graphic for the game (i usually prefer 2d unless the 3d is really good and clear...), and the good story line.if the story line drags on too much, it makes the whole game boring, no matter how much the other portions for the game are good.

Good story and gameplay. The graphics dont have to be as good if the story really grips you and involves you.

In a game I simply look for a good story line. A thrill while playing and maybe a couple of emotional scenes. For the thrill it can be some sort of action.

In order for a game to be great for me I really look for both fun and replayability. I mean games are fun but what's the point if you the moment you finish the game it becomes something you'll never touch again?

A good balance between story, graphics, and easy to grasp controls. Story can get you far alone but people like having graphics.Graphics alone doesn't pan out to well as we've seen recently in FFXIII and FFXIVAnd making your game hard to play control wise just doesn't make things fun.A good mix of all 3 is whats good.
