I personally don't own a psp, but I've played my friends a few times and I'd have to say that I wouldn't consider buying it anymore.

I do and i dont. Seeing as alot of the games they have come out for it don't seem to peak my interest, but the emulators and the other features you can use through cfw make it worth while. I have both an NDS and a PSP and i have to say i find my self playing the PSP more.

Never EVER EVER. The PSP can do pretty much anything you want it to. Haha. Internet. Music. Videos. AND games.

My psp was getting more use than my DS for teh longest time, With my PS1 games on it to the FF7 CC and disgaea coming out on it....the hours of play I have on it rival that of some of my consoles...then again I was also traveling around a lot and needed something to occupy myself. As for selling it I'm not about to make the decision for you...I will say that for those of you who like RPG's teh Star Ocean 1 and Star ocean 2 games are being remade for the psp

Why would anyone regret buying one the people who do regret buying one are the people who don't know how to use homebrew and CFW and the other features that allow you to use the psp as a true personal entertainment device, And a word for all of you who regret buying a psp think of this to mod the ds your looking at like 50-70 bucks total supplies and most of it can only be used once, And to mod the psp you looking at like 20 and the stuff you can use it all the time so ENJOY YOUR DS!!!

Yeah. I didn't even buy it but I know my friend did. He regretted it. He also said that this system had sucky games. Oh well, I don't care about the music/internet blah blah. I already have a laptop/MP3/ and other portable gadgets that replace that and are tone better, same with my friend. Don't know why he bought it. Anyways, I got a DS, way better games. Well, I rest my caseI'm outta here.. B)

For music, I have an iPod. For internet, I have my laptop. So when I consider the actual reason why I bought my slim PSP, it truly was a waste of money. How else can you justify buying a system for a single game? :P Still, it's your enjoyment of the purchase that matters, eh? Overall, I don't fully regret buying it, but the rational side of my mind wishes it had more games that interested me and stronger support all around. I bought into PSP late, and that probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. Recently I was looking through Q4 releases for all my current consoles/handhelds and wasn't really surprised to see the usual slack from PSP's line-up. The fact that the Star Ocean 1 remake was actually seeing a NA release was the real surprise. I just wish they hadn't been so selective with some of their Tales series releases, because I can't be bothered importing anything even if it is translated into English. Ah well. I guess PSP had some good times, but now certainly isn't one of 'em. Hopefully a few of the '09 releases will give it some extra attention.
