I played Soul Calibur 2. beat it just recently in story mode using Spawn. and I kinda didn't like it all that much. I thought MK: Deadly Alliance was better.Anyone else not like it too much?

I've played it. And beat it. One of my most favorite arcade style fighting games. Now I'm just trying to get all the weapons.

Yeah I thought the weapons system was cool. But It was someone-elses X-Box was playing on . . . I beat SC 2 in one 8 hour sitting . .. various things done during that . . . including a half hour of vs mode. . . . oh and muchos bathroom breaks . . . and many cigarettes, and alot of coffee

I think that soul caliber 2 is a decent game I just dont like how they made the characters move kind of slow

I was really disappointed in sc2 always thought it was great but well I stopped after like 2 hours~Might try it again someday.

its a pretty good game ive beaten it on gamecube xbox and ps2 but yea i would say deadly alliance is a bit better

I wouldn't say the game sucked.... It was ok while it lasted it killed alot of time for me since I was bored as hell...

It's not bad, but it gets repetitive, and people will whore Nightmare/Spawn on you when you play against them.

i've beaten soul caliber 2 and it gets really repetitive. however if you want to be really good at it you need to play it endlessly in order to guard impact everything

I'm not a fan of fighting games, but I remember thoroughly enjoying SC2, especially it's "vibe". It's fun to play in short bursts.

ok well MK might be more of your fighter type, but Soul Caliber 2 isn;t all that bad

Yeah, SC2 is ok for the Box, I prefer it for the Cube though, it's way better on that platform, no offense but Link rocks, and I believe he's only on the Cube version.

I loved Soul Calibur 2. but i also enjoyed Soul Edge the first one way back in 1996 on the PS 1. Also the only reason while i kepted my Dreamcast was for Soul Calibur that was a rocking game on Segas Bowout machine...

I'm not too much into fighting games, but SC2 was fun the first time I played it. But that may be becuase I could beat my more experienced friends with boarderline button mashing, which may in fact speak against the game.
