Heck, no. My DS is a poor, battered machine, and the screen has scratch marks all over it from when I used my nails because my stylus got crushed.

I bought my DS used. The touch screen was very scratched up. However, I work at a place that serviced PDA's. We had some pretty good screen protectors there. The nice thing about these screen protectors was that it filled in the scratch marks. The screen look brand new after I installed it and I was out only $40 for the DS. Not sure if the offical DS screen proctecotrs will fill in scratches as well but it may be worth a shot if you have some defects on you touch screen.

I thinks it's not soo necessary... so I don't even think on the possibility xPIf I scratch the screen, it's the price for my uncare

i didnt buy a screen protector when i got my ds and that is not a good idea for playing harvest moon or cooking mamma, since that will scratch up the screen a lot.

When I bought it, the vendor offered one along as a bundle so I got it. It doesn't really bother me much (no loss in screen clarity).

I did not start to think of to buy a screen protector since i haven't had many games that needed to use thetouch screen alot. Especially with the stylus.I guess I hadn't reconsidered but, now I will. It seems that the stylus itself can scratch up the screenpretty badly. Just like the demo NDS' at retail stores :diablo:

No I didn't buy a screen protector. I am not a obsessive person that needs to prevent all sorts of little scratches and dirt from getting on the screen.

I got a screen protector, but it was for the upper screen... and that kind of defeated the purpose of getting one because the touch screen is the one vulnerable... If I knew, i would have gotten a touch screen protector to touch without worry of stains.

Not really. I don't like putting extra stuff in my DS like a screen protector or hangy accessories...though I occasionally use a silicon protector.OCCASIONALLY.
