Upon buying your DS did you immediately buy a screen protector?

What do you mean by screen protector. I bought a protective case but had never use it.

Oh GOD yes! I bought a screen protector. First game I had for it was Trauma Center: Under the Knife. I decided to take off the screen protector and replace it because it had developed this enormous gash from saving patients with magical life juice. This rough line on the bottom right side of my DS got in the way of lots of other games and really distorted the picture quality, ha ha ha. Luckily the underlying touch screen wasn't damage. Thank you screen protector!

I just don't think the screen protector is worth it. It doesn't do THAT much.

nope, cuz i hate the air bubble, i remember that i ended up destroying the screen protector for my GBA when i got it....

I'm the poster child for screen protectors on all small electronic devices. Especially if the live in my pocket/purse/bag.Bought at the same time as DS and was the first thing to get used. Practice makes the bubbles go away

I did I got 2, but I suck at putting them on so I took both off because of to many air bubbles in it.

Of course, I knew the stylus might leave marks especially games like Elite Beat Agents.

lmfao mine came with it, so the professional helped me put it on and i dunt even notice it nowadaysbut im really grateful i haf one becuz it prevents my screen from getting scratched

I intended to, but ended up run out of money and now regretting not buying one. I don't dare play with fingernail when my stylus is lost.

i bought mine off a friend and he didnt have one. and i thought i could just put one on. but it turns out he played so much metrpoid prime hunters b4 hand that the protector got lamed

I didn't even know there was a screen protector... And what good would it do anyway, you can just close it to protect both screens... Nothing harms the screens when you play, unless you do something out of the ordinary while playing.

yah, i put mine on without air bubbles, but the screen protecter got too scratched from playing games like Ninja Gaiden2 so i took it off and it's much better

i got my screen protector as soon as I could find one. The biggest reason I couldn't at first was because I got a DS very close to its launch date when it still came with the Metroid Prime hunters first hunt demo. I haven't had problem with my the protectors, but that might be because most of my games don't use the touch screen a lot.

I immediatelly bay one ... and some spares too ... because in some games you have too rub very hard over the screen ...i installed the protection the first day ... the boy from the store told (advised) me !!!

I don't think it is really necessary. Most games do not require you to scratch it that hard. I never bought a screen protector and had my DS for 2 years and no scratches. Just keep in mind that the stylus does wear and will start making a scratch noise when it is no good, thus STOP using it and replace it.
