Alakazam is the best one and always will be. Drowzee is way to weak so is Hypono.

Alakazam is the best no doubt. But a strong Hypno pairs up with Alakazam pretty well though.

Alakazam is like the Psychic One hitter KING!!Although, Hypno was my very first Lv. 100 back 7 years ago on Pokemon Blue.:)and now i used GTS on Diamond to get a lv. 100 Hypno.But it did feel better knnowing that i trained the Hypno myself.On Blue i Maxed out its stats with Calciums and stuff LOL.That was back wen there was no Special Atk/Def, only Special, rofl.

It's Alakazam this, Alakazam that, but you have to trade him to evolve him. And who gonna trade you an alakazam back when there's so many fans who like him? I voted for Jynx for his accessibility and Ice moves like Ice punch, which can sometimes freezes enemies. Plus, most people can just wake pokemon with their pokeflute, as most people don't carry around some ice heals.

I'd rather have a Snorlax on board to be my "tank" pokemon. Besides, slowbro's double weakness makes it a bit sad to use...

Jynx coz it can tank decently AND gains good ice/psychic attacks. Alakazam can be taken down quickly even by physical moves that ain't good against it just coz of its very low physical def.
Double weakness to what?Besides, slowbro's double weakness makes it a bit sad to use...

Wow lots of people picked Alakazam...I still think Slowbro is better because of his tank like body. I don't remember the R/S/E meta that well, but I'm pretty sure Alakazam has lots of counters.

I chose Alakazam, but my real favorite is my Golduck. At level 87, Hydro Pump, Psybeam, Surf, and Slash. All PP maxed. When he hit 100, that mon could tear up the Elite Four on his own. Fighting with him and Vaporeon, I became a Water traininer on Blue. I've never looked back since.
