The one super difficult game I remember the best is Jurassic Park: The Lost World on the Playstation, I finally managed to beat it, but that game is insanely difficult.

Well, there was a game back on nintendo called Fanxanadu or something like that. the game was so hard when I was younger I never completed anything past the first boss.

there's this one game called mario v.s donkey knog or sumthing. at first it was easy but then it suddenly went so hard it was impossible

Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, wow sometimes makes me stop playing it, but argh i was stuck in the same place for like 5days

Dead rising took me so god damn long to even get past the first day when doing the main story that game is hard.

System Shock 2 on Impossible difficulty, now that is a damn hard game. The only game I can think of that even comes close to that is Ninja Gaiden Black on anything above Hard.

I would have to say that the hardest game I've ever played was Ecco. It drove me crazy! I literally had a laugh attack in the final level. I don't know that the game was the most difficult out there, but for me it was the most frustrating. It was so satisfying when I beat it though. So I guess I'm both unhappy and glad that I bought it, if that makes sense.

There are numerous games that i've played and never beat which really pissed me off since i keep getting pretty far then either dying or getting stuck.NESZelda: couldn't get into the last temple 
ninja turtle: couldn't find and defuse all the bombs to save the dam 
spy hunter: took me forever to get to the boat stage then kept dying. I've only gotten past the boat stage and to the helicopter stage once but died right away 
double dragon: got to the final boss multiple times and got my ass kicked multiple times 
playstationXenogears: ugh i really liked this game but dangit i got all the way to the final boss and i couldn't beat him i couldn't do enough damage to beat him. No matter what combination of people i used to fight him he kept healing himself. I didn't level my guys enough to beat the last boss 
the messed up part is there was no way to level my guys up anymore. i saved right before the battle with the final boss 
if i wanted to beat the game i'd have to start over and make sure my guys were sufficiently leveled up to win. I'd already restarted the game a few times already and got farther each time but that was the last straw with that game. maybe some day i'll go back to it but not now.There are others (oh there are sooooo many others) but these are the ones that stick in my mind the most because i liked them and tried to beat them multiple times.

For me specifically, The fire emblem franchise. I love the games, but I am far too reckless for my own good and usually end up killing off half my cast. My battle path of shame and lost allies is one reason the Fire Emblem series will alway be just too hard.

Demon souls for the Ps3 is hands down the most impossible game I have ever played, but it's still somehow fun ^^

I cant beat the final boss in kingdom hearts chain of memoriesXDAlso i cant beat the last boss in zelda a link to the past....i cant understand how i actually dmg that dude!!And finally its baten kaitos for GC.....i couldnt win in the battle against 3 bosses at the same time.I did win when i tried again 2 years later only to stuck again at the boss in the volcano:(

i think that it is sims sky because in a mission afterward is to save a plant and i am not able to compleate it it is very hard

Ninety nine nights 2 is a really hard game, I could never get very far into it for some strange reason.
