The transfomers the movie game, this just seemed like they rushed it too much, it's too easy to get lost in camera angles, and a lot of the missions were timed to short You could also argue almost any atari game since almost none of them ever ended.

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure.I just couldn't finish it! I can't remember correctly (it's been over a decade), but there was some boss on the final levels that was just invencible :|

I kept getting stuck in the first Harry Potter game. I think I just gave up and quit.

Link's Awakening on the Game Boy: I've had it for a looooong time now, and everytime I get stuck I refuse to look at a guide. The amount of times I've had no idea where to go or what to do next! It's been so long since the last time I played it, I know I'm near the 4th quarter of the game, but I have forgotten pretty much everything about it, so now I don't stand a chance
The other is F Zero GX, that story mode has the steepest learning curve I've ever come across!Final one is Final Fantasy X, where I remember being stuck on a snowy mountain for ages. I got past that point about a year later (again with long periods between plays), and I'm now very near the end, but every time I try to play it it now makes me fall asleep. So it's pretty much impossible for me to complete, but at least I found a cure for those sleepless nights lol.

F zero GX is definitely the hardest game I've ever played. After rejoicing because you beat the rediculously hard story mode, you find out that to get the secret characters you have to beat all the missions again on the hardest difficulty. And the diamond Gprix expert mode? Forget about it.

Metro: 2033, an FPS that is based on a novel, has a very compelling story: post-nuclear war, living in the metro subway system of Moscow. But bullets are also the game currency. And to make it worse, unless you are skilled at stealth, then you won't make it very far... because your armor is almost worthless and the guns are mostly handmade so they suck. Even on easy mode, it's almost impossible. And Mega Man... any of the original NES, SNES games, and even the new Mega Man games on XBLive Arcade... man I hate jumping and shooting.

Well, there are three games I gave up on because they were hard. Those games are Yo! Noid for the NES, Batman Forever for the SNES and Ghosts and Goblins for the Game Boy Color. I know it was for the NES originally, but I bought the GBC version. Thankfully Yo! Noid was bought used.
