The worst part of my addiction is the lack of sleep, lack of family life and to much junk food and take out :) Sometimes I even get a headache, but I can solve that issue with some more coke. I had a period when I played World of Warcraft so much that even my dreams involved the every day life in the game :( Kind of scary to be honest, dreaming about leveling your professions and running around in Dalaran.

I ended up with insomnia for about a month... and during that time I just ended up playing more games.

Having the repeated tendency to imagine that dark rooms are filled with monsters that I must defeat, and thinking that DDR could become an actual sport.

I played tetris so much during one week taht I actually had dreams of falling tetris pieces, and I would notice during school that I would daydream and try to fill up the chalk board with tetris pieces.

Playing games late completely ruined my sleeping pattern and in turn, made me do bad at taking notes during school because I would doze off. It also gave me little time to do my homework at home... I am trying to fix these problems right now.

I hope you mean the soft drink. :milo2:

Exactly the same situation with me! My parents tried to stop me from playing too many games by confiscating my consoles; this proved counter-productive, as I'm now playing even more. :milo2:Fortunately I've not gotten much work recently, so I've barely gotten away with the amount of games I've been playing. I'm trying to make some sort of time-table to manage my playing hours.

It's a tie between loss of sharpness in eyes and inability to go to sleep on time...(My boyfriend and I are BOTH game addicts, maybe we can break each other's addictions hahaha)

The worst effect video games have ever had on me was during a local lock-in (sleepover). I played video games for 15 consecutive hours with my friends, and fell asleep as soon as I got home. I slept for an entire day. :)

My worst effect is losing track of time and only wondering "hmm. Do I have any work to do?" a lot later.

When I was in 5th grade I was outside playing with some friends and I could have sworn I heard Erika's voice shout out "Somebody save Gloom!" I remember stopping short from playing kickball and stood for about 5 minutes wondering where it was coming from. lol.

I get real touchy when Im stuck on some game boss where outside the game Im constantly a bit on edge till said boss is beaten. If its a real good game my friends usually see me....once every 3 weeks. -__-

Video games ruined my social life, made me slack off throughout school, and made me a lazy jerk who hates reality. I love video games.

i miss games addictions! I havnt had one for a while now, other then fallout, i played pretty much non-stop till i got every single last gamerscore i could from it. I only stopped when wiggling wasnt enough to hold my pee, or when i needed to smoke. i still wish the world was the world of fallout! XD Would be so fun to have no laws!

I'm kind of overweight. Does that count? As for single games that held my attention for a long time, there was Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Both of those games had me hooked for a while, and I missed a few hours of sleep.

It definately affects all my grades in school, because instead of doing my homework when i get it, i mainly just sit there gaming, and leave everything to the night before it was due.
