I don't know why, but Dino Crisis (it's survival horror, but all of my friends laughed at it) and the T-Rex part in Lara Croft always scared me. ~Giant lizard chasing you and hungering for your flesh~ *terrified*I also have an extreme aversion to spiders so Deadly Creatures was just plain horrifying for me.

Zelda Ocarina of time, for sure. The undead things in the square were creepy and the entire shadow temple gave me the willies when I was 10... still kinda does. And Banjo Kazooie, the graveyard bit and the witch, I was so scared of that game... I couldn't finish it. It was definitely fun but it creeped me out.Oh and you know what, the flood in Halo. I could have done without them.I hate scary games... and movies for that matter.

Batman Arkham Asylum was never hyped as scary but as I mentioned in an earlier post like 2 months ago, the Killer Croc sequence when you're having to move slowly through an endless maze of sewer pipes while he randomly jumps out of nowhere to attack you. I mean wouldn't you be scared as hell if a 10ft tall crocodile jumped out at you. Also, the very first scarecrow sequence in the game. The tilted camera, bugs on the ground, shadows flashing on the wall, weird voices, walking into a morgue only to have a voice screaming at you to get out, leaving the room and ending up back in the same room, I thought it was so surreal and rather creepy first time I played it.Fallout 3, anytime in a cave or a darkened metro station, especially the Deathclaw Sanctuary, that place can go to hell. Nothing worse than going through a dark tunnel system with the hardest to kill creatures running all around.Haze, in the swamp after you first experience the withdrawal of nectar. The entirety of Bioshock. Especially the first time you come across a Houdini splicer, or even worse, in Fort Frolic, walking into a flooded basement with a stone statue sitting in a chair in the corner, walking to the other end of the room to pick up and item, then turning around to see that the stone stature is now standing in a ballerina pose right in front of you seconds before it then attacks. Then, any encounter with a Big Daddy on Survivor mode is an absolute nightmare!Could never playthrough Doom 3 at all, it scares the crap out of me.Haven't played it yet but I'm pretty sure the new Aliens Vs Predator game will be scary as hell as well as Aliens Colonial Marines. The first Alien movie was the nightmare of my childhood.

Any Legend of Zelda game (when I was but a wee little boy). Forced fights scared the hell out of me. Luckily I always had someone around to beat up those big bad bosses ;)

Half Life 2. Everytime I heard a sound on some of the levels I'd go hide in a corner and wait until I finally found the enemies... No, I didn't hide my character in a corner, I hid myself in a corner.

Silent hill the first one was the best scary game ever!!!!!! oh and one that really made me jump was F.E.A.R. omg that game was good lol

Clock tower! I panicked whenever a villain appeared.

I heard that game was really scary

The Fatal Frame series was pretty good, and since it wasn't given much attention, or advertised much, I don't feel this series was hyped at all. It's one of those games I had to discover on my own, and what pulled me in was the cover. I mean everything about it looks like a horror game, so I knew what I was getting into when I played it, but I didn't know exactly how scary it was going to be.

yea same here it was a great game though

You know what. I actually found one part of KH Chain of Memories a bit spooky. I think back to the moment when I played it and I don't really understand why. But anyway. Click spoiler. I don't want to reveal part of the story if someone's playing it.
Maybe because it was just flippin freaky and weird and unexpected. But there you go.

I haven't really been scared of games even when they are hyped up for fear. The last game I did have a reaction that was more like curious scared was on fable 2 when you go back in the past and when you go in toward that one house in one of the demon doors. It was pretty much like nice and nice and nice and nice and boom look death gloomy and kinda creepy so it was pretty much uh...what's going on..do I want to go that way.

F.E.A.R scared the **** out of me. Really, it did. Im just walking about and then a vision appears of a dead man. That and the first encounter with Alma (ing the hall she is walking up to you and everything around her starts to burst into flames...) gave me nightmares that night.I got freaked by the part in metroid fusion were it shows you the sa-x's face. All green... and evil...

Dead rising. It was supposed to be funny about zombies and it was but the point of playing it in the dark scared me.

One game that scared me when i was a kid was "Odd Planet" or something like that, it was where you were being chased y tentacles in the beginning and then move on to being chased by a black wolf/panther looking thing.I wouldn't even watch the game resident evil when it first came out because of the zombies and things that just jump out at you

That would be "Out of This World." And I agree, it was scary as ****, especially at the wolf part when he catches you. Also, I had nightmares for a few days after being disintegrated by an alien gun.

Tenchu wrath of heaven on PS2, when zombies and strange ghosts started popping up every now and again.Manhunt, but that one is a little bit too obvious.I think I have missed the point, perhaps.Hmmm.... How about kingdom hearts?I was terified at the thought of having to travel with Donald duck. I was also uncomfortable about Tarzan. He is seemingly civilised enough to shave, but he doesnt seem to care much about nudity.Scary right?
