When I was little, I was afraid to play Tomb Raider 2 sometimes. I have an irrational fear of deep, dark places, especially when they are filled with water, and the game throws you to the bottom of the ocean at the start of one level. That, and giant snake things pop out of holes and attack you, if my memory serves me right.

sadly, mine was resident evil 2, what i was umm... 6, and at an age, i was already halfway through ff7. i obviously didn't play re2, my ... sighs ... babysitters husband did ... sighs, those were the golden days...oh and in S.T.A.L.K.E.R CS, those ghost like mutants are hell freaky... even worse... the ones that jump outta nowhere with tentacle faces and throw npc in the air, and they land with a clean slice down their body, that is fuckin freaky s words, AND that game was so under appreciated

Metroid Fusion, for one. I don't even need to explain this one. Anyone who has played it, they know about the SA-X and what it does. Furthermore, the fact that Nintendo can make me sh*t bricks playing a game on a screen that is 3 by 5 inches is some kind of awesome. Also, Ocarina of Time was probably the game that ******ed up my childhood more than anything else. The worst would probably be the wallmasters. You are just walking along, minding your own ******ing buisness, when you hear RAOIAHOGFIHAPOIJHEFRAFS AND THERE IS A ******ING SHADOW FOLLOWING YOU AND SOMETHING ABOUT TO LAND ON YOUR HEAD AND RAPE YOU, HOLY ******ING ****** RUN.Your turn!

LOL. I love that part. HAHA. It's just so EPIC. :ryan:

Sorry about the last post, I read the topic wrong. So here is my correction.I would say it would have to be Tomb Raider (when you have to fight the tigers) That part creeped me out a lil.And does anyone remember the old school NES game Bayou Billie? When i first played that game ( and still sometimes today) I get freaked when the gators jumb out of the swamp when your in the water. I hate that part.

Too True! Metroid Fusion is probably one of the greatest games, but with scary as hell bits in it. epsecially the SA-X. I only got ahem. Scared as such, was during the piece after collecting the Space Jump ability, and entering Sector 2 Where the SA-X Patrolled the area. Hardest ans spookiest bit of the whole game. I was relieved by the time I got past it.

I'm agreeing with Zelda OoT. Being about 5 or 6 playing it the first time, those Redeads and Wallmasters scared me Sh*tless, and my sister was always almost crying when anyone played and went by them. I actually had to get my sister past any part in the game with Redeads or Wallmasters. I've just never been the same since. Then there was Majora's Mask. It wasn't truly scary so much as it was disturbing. Near naked Giants, an evil moon, and Tingle. Tingle might have scarred me worse than the Redeads raping Link while eating his brains.
