There were actually some moments in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow that scared the heck out of me. Like when you arbitrarily had to kill the Mossad agent, and ran around the level expecting to die at any moment.

Tomb Raider 2...The tigers in the first level and the terrible underwater monsters were frightening. At least, they were when I was eight years old!

I'm constantly on the edge of my seat with any MGS game. For some reason, I'm scared to hell of being found, even though the guards have next to no view distance. I'm still freaking out from miles away.Oh, and I know that doesn't sound like the fear you were talking about, but I get really paranoid when it comes to MGS :P

yea i get scared when i play mgs2 for some reason when i play it and get near the end i just get really freaked out

Castlevania 64 was a game that wasn't really supposed to be "scary", but I found parts of it to be. Especially the section of the game where you are running through the topiary maze being chased by the chainsaw weilding gardener! INVINCIBLE chainsaw weilding gardener I might add!

One game that scared the beejeebis out of me that wasn't hyped as being scary was Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. There was a level where you had to take on a boss in your dreams and each time he hit you a scary pic would popup!!!!

left 4 dead when played in the dark with good speakers is really creepy. The wallmasters from Ocarina of Time was probably the scariest monster in any game from it's time.

I really thought dead rising was creepy as anything! But my sleeper scare would have to go to GTA4, I would be walking across the street then BAM I would get hit by a car

Half-Life 2's poison headcrabs scare me. They make a horrid screeching noise and pounce on you quicker than the other headcrabs. Yeesh. The FastZombies are scary, too.

Silent Hill was a creepy one, most definitely.Anyone else play Cold Fear for the xbox? I don't think the game went over too well, but I liked it well enough, and it had its scary moments too.

Metroid Fusion, for one. I don't even need to explain this one. Anyone who has played it, they know about the SA-X and what it does. Furthermore, the fact that Nintendo can make me sh*t bricks playing a game on a screen that is 3 by 5 inches is some kind of awesome. Also, Ocarina of Time was probably the game that ******ed up my childhood more than anything else. The worst would probably be the wallmasters. You are just walking along, minding your own ******ing buisness, when you hear RAOIAHOGFIHAPOIJHEFRAFS AND THERE IS A ******ING SHADOW FOLLOWING YOU AND SOMETHING ABOUT TO LAND ON YOUR HEAD AND RAPE YOU, HOLY ******ING ****** RUN.Your turn!

I know what you mean, i remember this one time distinctly. this floormaster (which are the one's that split apart when killed) nocked me into a bottomless pit, and then the game frose as i was laying on the ground, dead, before the fairy came out to revive me.I HATE WALL/FLOORMASTERS!!!!!!!I also had a bad run in with this one game, i forget the name, but if you are caught, a zombie tears you apart. it's for the x-box

Laura Bow 2: The Dagger of Amun Ra. Only game I've ever played that made me run to my bed and hide. I'm not going to spoil the particular scene, though.Other than that, the bad ending in Chrono Trigger, and a couple of bad endings elsewhere. I forget which.
