In Zelda Oot I was 5 or 6 and I seriously Was the most easily scared boy on planet earth, I spent an entire month doing random side quests because i didn't want to go in the temple of the shadows. :D

one of the scarier games i've played has been Dino Crisis for the Playstation. such a great game imo.Dino Crisis 2 was pretty good as well, just not as great as the first.

I'd have to say Donkey Kong Country 2 when King Zinger is chasing you in the hive. And the music just gets you hyped on getting away, so you're all jumpy when something goes wrong.

yay, i'm back from my holiday...a new game that made me jumpy was apollo justice. The suspense would kill me so bad, i would only get like 2 hrs of sleep when the case wasn't finished. i mean seriously, at the end of every case you sit there and say "what the f ing s word just happened?"i just got the intro to "Turnabout Succession' and now i ain't touching that game again...

The game that scares me has to be Half-Life 2 because of the ravencroft level. I always hated doing that one and the fact that the advanced zombie guys that ran after you would make that freaky generic screaming sound when they would charge at you and injure you. Freaked me out real bad sometimes at 2 in the morning.

The Killer Croc sequence from Batman Arkham Asylum. Having to move as slowly and as quielty as you can and then having Croc appear randomly out of nowhere from absolutely anywhere around you, freaked me out. I'd hear the loud clash of music signalling his appearance but couldn't see him anywhere, then he just appears from around a corner like a metre and a half in front of you. Creeped me out my first playthrough

The one that wasn't hyped that I found was scary at one point was Thief: Deadly Shadows when you entered The Cradle. Ghosts, Insane Asylum, Zombies that made the lights crackle when they were near them, they don't die when you stab them through the back of the neck. Completely freaked me out when I played that level.Serious Sam 2 (or was it 1?) for the XBox. Normally a joke of a game, but the screaming, headless suicide bombers give me the creeps. You hear them, approaching, with those bombs, but you can't quite see them from your angle and you know it's going to hurt if they get you before you can get them. I couldn't get that scream out of my head for a month...

Totally Majora's Mask on N64... TOO many acid-trippy scenes and most all the bosses had either screams that were scary or they were just scary themselves!

Paper Mario: 1000 Year Door. The "For pigs the bell tolls" segment, and also the Glitzpit segment were oddly disturbing. The pigs one was scary because of it's allusion to "For Whom the Bell Tolls," by Hemingway. The bell tolls for the dead. That's just creepy. And the Glitzpit sucking the very life and soul out of the fighters was had a demented underlying creepiness.

i've honestly never experienced this. only 2 games ever really made me jump, and that was the original resident evil for the ps1, and fatal frame 2 for the ps2.
