Online, because eventually you will beat the game in single player mode and will have nothing else to do but POWN everyone online with your mad skills.

Online, simply because with current games at least, facing AI becomes repetitive- they will use the same tactics over and over again and soon become easy to counter. With multiplayer, each opponent thinks and reacts differently so you can never truly "master" your opponents, and you must constantly adapt to stay on top.

Online Deathmatch play has a hell of a more replayability than even the best single-player game.

Multiplayer games have their place, as do singleplayer.I don't think you can really say that multiplayer games are better, or vice versa. Each brings different things to the table. Who wouldn't want the ability to experience some of these games with a friend online? Then again, some games that are really fun singleplayer, simply wouldn't translate well into a multiplayer arena.

Games are better played with multiplayer or online caz.... Its gets really boring without someone there to talk to you and laugh about the game.

online it's way better, and it makes the game's replay value infinite if the online gaming is good...

Online games are better to some degree, although if you want a better story im thinking single player is better on that department. O_O

I usually play alone, because I'm not a heavy, high skilled player that is very good at a lot of games. :s

Depends on the game I guess, playing Sim 2 online would be cool, but a lot harder. Stuff like Fire Emblem or any other GBA game would be kinda pointless to play with others. But on the other hand, playing World of Warcraft online alone would be kinda cool :(

Neither. Both modes aren't as fun as playing a game with your friend. That's it. You can't say that palling around a human being is not as fun as palling around...a computer or a voice coming out of a headset that might as well be a computer talking.

it really depends on what game your playing. unless i'm specifically looking for a online game to play, i tend to stick to single player stuff because i like taking things at my own pace that i don't have to deal with someone else. on the other hand, i tend to play the exact same way in online games, usually free MMO's, but that's because the players keep the world changing in a way that no single player world, no matter how much detail goes into a "living world" idea, can replicate the chaos of a free online world with all the people :)

I prefer games that have a good story line that also allow (offline) co-op, with online as an added bonus. I'm not too big in the online multiplayer, although I do find it really enjoyable but, nothing beats sitting on a couch with a couple good friends munching out and playing games, the ol' fashion way haha
