Legend Of Dragoon had a few issues in it but I thought it was okay still apart from the battle system

Well, it depends on you guys..but I suggest, you should try out this game before you can play FF games especially for those who're willing to play the RPG games for the first time..

The battle system IMO was great. and the storyline was decent. Although when you want to use magic you have 2 turn into a dragoon first.

ive heard really good things and really bad things about this game. but there are still a lot of people around that seem to rate it (highly). just wondering, for those that like it what was the best thing about the game exactly, story? battle system? or what? i dont like the sound of having to time button presses during battle, personally i find it annoying over a long time period. but its necessary in the game isnt it?

it was cliche to the max baby. The only thing i enjoyed about it's story was Rose's untimate secret. You got your stereotypical calm serene love interest girl, your wise old man, your bubbly morhine induced silly girl. Good grief! the only person id say who breaks the mould is that Albert dude.

The game by all aspects should have been horrible...Repetitive battle system, unoriginal charaters, standard plot, a none too suprising secret from Rose.And yet I still own it, and play it from time to time.Seriously though, try it - you can probably pick it up really cheap now.

im not sure about he absolute best but easily in the top 3. the battle system got a little frustratiing at time especially with albert and lavitz but the story and ending were awesome. the dragoon campaign was one of my personal favorites

Loved the battle system, but that is about it. I really want to see a sequel, though.

to me it is a great ps1 RPG to play its challenging and long. and with he way the battles are it makes it very interesting cause u have to be quick and precise and know where the buttons are cause of there might be a counter where u have to press o instead of x.

Stick with the FF series, Dragoon was a joke. One of the worst rpgs you will ever play.

i didn't like the fact that they didn't have a super boss like some of the ff series with the weapons... sure they had a few side mission bosses but they were far to easy... not hating the game i did like it but there were flaws...

Well, I think the game is great and I never seen this kinda battle system before...and its challenging that i got stuck at disc 3. i would give it a 8/10 as the bosses were not really hard.

Legend of dragoon wasn't the best but it was still a good rpg with the timing attacks and all works on your reflex. The cutscenes were nice

It messes up on Disc 1 so I can't finish it yet. Damn good from what I played though.

i dont care what any of yall haters say... this game was the GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!! it got me into FF series, although, Legend of Legaia was my virgin rpg game, that is my favorite EVER!
