Probably, Nintendo ALWAYS thinks of another new console so they could release it and make us buy a whole new console...the world of business..

Yes, but I don't think they'll use the name 'Wii' again. What kind of a name would 'Wii 2' be anyway? Might as well just call the X-Box 360 'X-Box 2'....As for the poll, while I think there may be a new generation of the Wii Console, I don't think it'll be 'Wii 2', so, I vote for none just for that sole reason.

Hopefully they don't extend the Wii name in future consoles because I don't wish to spend another 250 or more for a newer version of the console. I think that they should just stop here and just extend the games into the near future until the next generation of gaming consoles come out.

I don't think there will be a wii 2. I think that when they release the next generation of nintendo console it will be something totally different from what we've seen from them yet. It would have to be, the console war is big these days and it's going to be the one that stands out from the others that will take the cup. Xbox360 didn't have anything new, look what happened to that.

I own a wii. I hope to God that there will not be another wii because it would probably fall behind in terms of graphics again and would still try largely to appeal the casual gamer. It infuriates me that I wasted money on my wii because I own a few good games that, in my opinion, pale in comparison to Xbox/PS3 titles like Halo or Assassin's Creed.

Doesn't any of you know that Nintendo is not going to make another console, ever? Nintendo themselves said so. They said that the Wii is the last and final console they are going to make. No more, and yet you're still discussing what the next wii is going to be, presuming that there is going to be another console.

I think there is going to be at least one or two more Wii versions... I mean the Wii has the more sales than both the Xbox360 and the PS3. Nintendo would be stupid not to make another one.

Yeah, but if what Nintendo said about Wii being last console doesn't end up being true, then no one will take Nintendo seriously anymore.
