Yeah, I bought the DS when it first came out,Then I bought a DS lite later (it's soooo much slicker and the battery is better).Son, your teacher don't game, he/she don't know how it is.

my sister buyd a new ds lite.it was 6 moths later, 6 games, and 8 gba games, and i buyd it over from her for 40 eurosit was normally 150.only the games were 200 euros

I originally had the DS, then I got the DS Lite and gave my dad the original DS since he wanted something to do while he was out hunting (great combination, huh?). Now I have the one DS Lite, but my best friend has 3 since she keeps breaking them.

no ive allways had a lite but i have like 3 because my sis has one but never plays it so i took it my dad had one never plays it so i took it and i have 1

I'll be purchasing my second DS tonight. After weighing my options of how much repairs would cost to fix my current one vs. buying one locally brand new, there's only about $20 difference. For shipping and handling to repair it, that would be another $10, so I think I'm just going to go buy a new one tonight. But in the mean time, I'm desperately missing my gaming. 
Are R4 cards known to break DSes, or was this just a fluke that one of the pins ended up bent?

never bought the fat ds but.. i bought 2 ds lite because i felt like it.. highly doubt that i would buy the DSi though.

I only have 2 DS's. One Black and the other is the Crimson/Black one (Which I use the most since all the buttons work.)

I have two. Bought a DS Lite on release, as, coincidentally my GBA broke a few days previous, and I needed something to play my GBA games on. As for the second, I recently bought a DSi just for the DSi Ware.

I had the DS phat since launch, but gave it to a cousin when the lite verion came out. I still have my lite with a flashcart, and don't see the point in the DSi.
