Both, but Goldeneye will always be a classic, and it goes along with the movie, a perfect game all around (so perfect in fact, it is used on a lot of maps for none other than Halo, like Runway), Halo on the other hand, Master Cheif is the mascot for Microsoft Xbox, has great graphics, has a verson for custom maps (on the PC version), has online play, and is just fun to play, it's the first thing you think of when you think of Xbox, for me, being that my first console was the N64, and my first game was Goldeneye, I have to go the Goldeneye route

GOLDEN EYE!!!not only the best 1st person shooter ever, but the best movie game release. And that works even if "ff 7" came out as a movie first, cos it pales in comparison.Also, just to point out, Golden eye also had the best style of shooter, single stick. Double stick sux.

halo was original? news to me, didn't really think it brought anything new to the table besides being an enjoyable fps. I never caught on to golden eye. I kinda want to track down a copy and bust out my old 64. All my friends had it, and whenever i'd come over we'd play and my butt got handed to me every time. that kinda killed my interest back then.As for their time... quake 2 came out at the same time, and I always liked that one more.

Goldeneye...maybe it is because I played this first but it had so many elements which felt fresh and original.I realize that it has been done over and over but there was something about using the rifle with scope which I just really enjoyedAlso I enjoyed taking on 3 of my friends in multi player and usually kicking butt!

I think both games are fantastically overrated primarily because they did things on a console that were previously only done well on PCs.

well its all about my playing experience i enjoyed halo more but i enjoyed playing goldeneye with my friends i always remembered shooting grenade launchers through the roof of the temple level and running under it and around trying not to die....but on the other hand this can alos be done with the brute shot in halo 2 so im gonnna say that its a tie halo is good for an experience but goldeneye is good for memories

I'm going with Halo because it's more in the future and it's like a Fantasy RPG. Goldeneye is good, but when it comes right down to it, Halo is better....

I'd have to go for Goldeneye. I remember having tons of fun with my brothers and friends. But I'd say Halo is a lot more innovative and advanced.
