I play the Lego games to try to get all the mini-kits, etc. Other than that, not too often - mostly because there is something new that has come along.

It really depends on the game, I can replay Pokemon Yellow every few months, bit admittedly nostalgia plays a big part in that. In General, if the game is good I'll play it one, maybe two more times. You also have to take in consideration what the game offers in replay ability, something like Chrono Trigger for the Snes could be played half a dozen times and all end differently, while something like Pokemon will always end the same.

It depends on the length of the game, really... fighting games, racing games and shorter games like kirby canvas curse, new super mario bros. or even zelda, I'll play over. once its a long rpg or a turn based strategy, I'll usually play the same file, but I won't start it over completely.

If the game is solely based on the storyline like a final fantasy game probably just once unless i was playing on normal (games nowadays their normal is like super easy) then i would play again on the hardest difficulty. If its a game i like i would try to unlock everything just hoping i don't have to go through the story again. If there is competitive play and i know people will want to face me or i can challenge people i wont put it down until i feel that i can take on anyone...so it all depends on the game really in the end

The few games I finished are the ones I really enjoyed. So I'll pick those games up again just for fun every so often, but I don't tend to play them immediately again after beating them. Probably play them some every 6-12 months, enough time where it's fun again and not just repetitive.

This is a great question! I don't have many DS games but the ones I do have have very little replayability.Ace Attorney series, I would replay just to get more out of the story.Pokemon to me... I can't really replay it. There's just so much effort that goes into that game that thinking of starting over makes my head hurt.Like the OP said, Cooking Mama is still fun after getting all the gold medals just because certain recipes are amusing.Games like Mario Kart for Wii or New Super Mario Bros. for DS well... those I can replay all day. :bish:

I'm not the kind of person who gets bored easily with games, so I often play my games again and again and again...sometimes taking a break between games. Sometimes there will be games that I won't play that much, but those are usually games I didn't like in the first place.I remember playing through The World Ends With You a lot and I remember doing a lot of playthroughs for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. Those were some pretty good games, though their replay values might've had something to do with that.
