I generally play a game to the end, then redo anything that I need to to get items, unlock cutscenes, ect, then I tend to forget about it for a long time and move to another game. There are certain games that I keep and go back to, like pokemon or final fantasy, that I dont restart. But I do restart some games, like lately I went back and replayed Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days until I beat it again, and now I'm replaying KH recoded...

If its a really good game, probably 3-4 times, but if its average, then 1-2 times

I used to play games 2-5 times but my unplayed list has gotten so large I've only been playing the really good ones twice.

It depends on the game... If its a game that has more than one possible ending then I keep playing it over and over until all endings are opened and cleared... If its a game I enjoyed playing then I would play again after a few months haves passes by

It all depends on the game. Some just have really good replay value.

My all time favorite one is probably Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I've played that game so many times...

This depends on the game itself. Some games have alot of replayability, or have alot more content after it's story comes to a close. While not on a handheld, skyrim is a good example of a game with high replayability :P It really depends on the game itself, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon i've continued playing after finishing the story for many many more hours, spectrobes however I played it until I beat it and I was done lol

If it is a good RPG I see it as rereading a book. it's fun to me.

All the games i finished are good stuff to me. When I finished  them, I wish I never forget about them so I refinish them once per 5 years in general. Of course, some games just can't get out of my mind like the Fire Emblem series. Those sort of games I usually play them only once in my life. Tactical game just can't get out of my mind and I become bored quite fast.

I've always had the habit of beating a game and then going on to new ones, but often coming back to beaten games when i've gotten bored with the newer games that I've beaten but not yet gotten brand new ones. Games like Final Fantasy, pokemon, and kingdom hearts are games I got back to a lot because I can start new games or continue on with the stories even if I've already technically beaten the story.

I have a habit of replaying old games all the time. For me that's not a problem in the slightest because that is how you become an expert at certain games. It usually takes me a while to loop back to a particular game but there are a few that I like to play through at least once a year.

It depends on the game. I'll play games that give you choices (Like Pokemon or Skyrim) many, many times.

Really it depends on the game for me. Usually I beat it and then store it for a few years and then I'll get it out to play it again. But games that have just simply amazing stories, I play again immediately.

I spent 205 hours on my first playthrough of Xenoblade and then the next day I started a new file all over again, I just had to play more. Same thing with Metroid: Other M, I beat it and then watched the cinematic and then the next day started it again. So for me it really depends on how attached I get to the game.

Usually I'll replay it a few times but not in succession. I'll take a break and go back to it later.

Finished Borderlands 2 in a few days and haven't gone back to it just yet. Same with FF Tactics but I just started up a new campaign a couple days ago.

Well, it depends a lot on the game I've played. There could be a possibility to play it again if it has some kind of replay value, such as a new quest (worth of, of course). Yet, there are games like Chrono Trigger or Final fantasy VI that I have played more than 10 times (no kidding).

For me I normally play each game once. Because after I ended the game, I would continue on to play other games. However in case I have no new games around, I would replay one of the old game one more ime.

I tend to play most games only one time through to be honest.  I tend to favor RPGs, but tend to be so grind happy that I end up sinking too many hours into a game to want to revisit it.

It really depends on the game I've played through the pokemon games a few times just to get different tactics down. an some games I never play again like the summon night ds games just because they where a letdown after the gba games.

I rarely revisit a game after I've beaten it.  There are a few exceptions like Disgaea Hour of Darkness (PS2), but in general I tend to play a game until I complete it or lose interest and leave it unfinished.
