But then, what happens when you run out of money if you depend on it to get happiness?

People seem to be neglecting the fact that you can have money and friends. No one has to know you have money either, so it's not like yer friends will be snobby, greedy, people.I think money can bring happiness. If I had money, I could do what I wanted. I could go watch the movies I want whenever, buy any game I want (that's an endless amount of happiness right there), and eat wealthy.Being poor, I could play with the other poor children and starve. YAY!

I believe money can buy certain forms of happiness. Such as video games, movies, or unsaid pleasure in a strip bar...

Interesting question. I believe it can buy happiness but it will only last for a very short period.

Not really, i mean, some people marry for money but neither in the couple is completely happy. And materials can only make you happy for so long.

No. You'd get close but no cigar. With nothing to look forward to or work towards, you'd quickly get bored. Hopefully, you would have a family and they could come live with you in your vast mansion, lol. You'd eventually start doing things you've never done before before, even stuff you originally hated... like golf. You probably wouldn't ever actually find true love. But, that's worst case scenario. Lots of money couldn't be THAT bad.

sure it can, until you relieze how hard to have to work to keep track of it all. when you have lots of money, you'll have lots of people trying to part it from you. You could be rich and happy if no one knew your wear rich. I'ld be hapy with just enough money to cover all my bills for the month. Be nice to not having to worry about how you are going to pay the electric bill.

Can money buy happiness? I don't think so. What matters more is the people that bring you happiness, and knowing that that person has money, it might only corrupt you instead of letting you see the happiness that you really wanted in life.

I don't believe money can buy PERMANENT happiness...Only temporary. Like that toy you got as a 5 year old. It was temporary happiness, because after a while, it got old and you got rid of it. But then you found a new one to be happy with.

As the song says, money can't buy you happiness, but I'm happiest when I can buy what I want. There's a delicate balance to this, certainly some people would be happier if they had more money, and some people are unhappy because they've got too much. So, yes it _can_, in a sense, but it won't always.

lets think of it this way, yes temporary hapines with material objects but with money you wouldn't have any worries like food and bills so technically it does buy you happiness
