We can use money to buy things that make us happy, but this is given the fact that we live in a very materlistic world. Material possesions make us happy and the things that are suppose to give us happiness (raising a family, job fulfilment, or spending time with a loved one) is being pushed out of the way in favor of material possessions. Yes Money CAN buy happiness but not the kind of happy we really want and need.

I think money can only give you temporary satisfaction it cant really buy something that will make you happy for the rest of your life.

One can really argue about this question all day. Does money buy happiness? To me, no, what it does is not buy happiness, but allow you to use it's buying power to become somewhat happy or extremely happy for a short while to a long time. For example, if you use money to preform an operation upon a severely broken hip of yours so that you can walk again, you can be happy for a long while, you can play with a child you might have, or you can travel on your own two feet. If you use it to buy a game system, that game system will make you happy for as long as it is useful to you. However, if you buy a game you realize you don't like, that does not make you happy. No, money does not buy happiness. It buys objects and services that may or may not make you happy. It's a middle object. Perhaps the money itself may make some happy, but it does not "buy" happiness.

Well lately i've just seen Shai posting alot of topics. Anyone going to warn him or is that ok? Topic spamming with just a few titles is really lame. I mean why would you do that? Just for some ROMS? Or just for some cool stuff in the gp store?

i feel that money can buy happiness if that is what truly makes you happy. If staring at a wall makes you happy, then all the money in the world wont change the fact that a wall is what does it for you.

Yes I think that it is possible to be happy with money, but I think there is a limit too. Too many other factors come into account when talking about happiness and also if you have too much money you start to worry too much about that or getting it stolen that you no longer have time to be happy either that or you just simply always want more.

I don't think money can. I have a job I do where I don't make a lot of money, but I love it, so I don't feel like I'm at work. In fact, I'm pretty happy, without a ton of money.

Well the "Can money buy happinness?" answer can differ on what your definition of happiness is. mine is would be no, even though money can make your life easier, it ain't going to buy you love, or friends.

Money can only make life enjoyable for the moment. To find true happiness you have to be content with what you have which is hard for some to realize because everyone is constantly trying to get bigger and better things in life. So if you can honestly say when you look around that you appreciate what you have and you smile when you wake in the morning than you have found true happiness!

Lol pretty simple depends what makes you happy in my case yes ... loads of games and drawing material. someone might ask what about your family, friends, relationship well I already have them and money would only add to their happiness as well

Can happiness be sold? There's your answer. :bDepends what makes you happy, I suppose. For me, I like making people smile, that makes me happy. So in a sense, having money, for me, could buy happiness.

Money cannot buy happiness, but it can buy you things to occupy your mind for short periods of time. It all depends on what hapiness means to you.
