My brother thinks it can. But no; money can't buy happiness. Imagine your life in a luxurious boat, far out in the sea without anyone else. Even if there's everything you want in the boat, without any friends/happiness, you'd pine away and die. So no; money can't buy happiness.

to a certain extent yes money can buy happiness but there will always be an empty void that money cannot fill i've known people who had more money than they needed and still weren't happy. money is alot but it is not everything

money can buy happyness if you are poor or at the lower end of the scale, if your poor you could do whatever you like or like to do but if your rich or your family is rich and had everything handed to you on a silver plate of course you will never be happy with money because it has never been a need, never been a want, never needed $20 to feed your kids or yourself.all in all if your poor to poor to have full meals every day to poor to get a 2ltr of milk of course money will make you happy but after a while of still being wealthy you forget what it was like to go without which creates an unhappyness because your limitations are now endless

can money buy happyness?........well money can make you happy in the context of you filling up your tummy with candy. your no longer hungry but your still sick......you need to eat real food. well for me to be truly happy, i need to find the reason for being. LoL but thats just me......by the way.....i heard from somewhere that truth is the currency of love :P

Some ppl say money dont make happy, but it definitely makes ur life a lot easier. That's one thing less to worry about. With money you can make other ppl around you happy by buying them expensive present. They'll worship u as a god.. and that'll make yourself happy too.

I don't think it can, but I once had a friend who seemed to live by an addage of, "Money might not be able to buy me happiness...but it sure can buy me things that WILL make me happy!"

In some ways it can. I'd be happy if I could travel the world for the rest of my life. The problem? Money. If I had money, I'd be pretty happy, using it on dying wish.

It can. Back in 8th grade, I would give some of my money to people sometimes, and it made me feel good for some reason. I also paid people to do crazy stuff...lol

I think money can buy you a lot of things that make you happy, but will never be able to give you the kind of happiness that a loved one can give.

Yes and no.Depends on what the situation is really.Money can definitely bring happiness to those who need it, especially people suffering from the effects of not having any.i.e. debt, hospital dues, lack of food, etc.So in a way it can.

It depends on the individual. If you use it in a positive way then you can be happy. Ultimately I think that people need to know that they are leaving a positive mark on the world before they die.

Money can't buy happiness exactly, but it can buy someone the means to find happiness. If you find happiness in drawing, you need to buy supplies. If you like to write, you need to buy pen and paper (or a laptop), and etc. Also, gotta take that loved one on dates, right?

It depends on your definition of happyness. If all we're going for is something to make you happy, like a video game, then yes. If you want true happiness, then it's very unlikely that money can buy you true happiness.

For me it can. It wouldn't buy total happiness but by traveling, buying all kinds of stuff would sure bring happiness to me.
