Money can take away most of the worries that sometimes stop us being happy, but you can be happy with no money in the same way you can be happy with money. Having money and being happy don't always go hand in hand.

it can buy a lot of things that can mack you happy but it cant buy you happiness thats sompthing you find yourself.

It can buy things to make you happy, but to make me happy, I need friends, and money doesnt buy TRUE friends, it might buy some fake ones though.

Man, if you were a miserable guy BEFORE you had money, you'll be miserable WITH it. Money can't buy happiness if you're not looking for it. It's not the Money, it's what you do with it that brings happiness. And seriously, Money that isn't used for ANYTHING is useless. That's why 'Misers' are so miserable--they can have bajillions in cash, but never actually use it for anything!Think of it in reverse: Find what YOU want that brings you happiness, and then look for the price on it (if any). NOBODY IN THE WORLD GETS HAPPY OVER THE SAME THINGS EVERYONE ELSE DOES. For one guy, Happiness will cost him $0.50--a Root Beer Chupa Chup. For another guy, it'll be a private Lear Jet--$4-6Million or so.Money can only buy you happiness if you know how much your happiness costs. If you DON'T, well, money's worthless to you.

- I don't know about you, but I'm MUCH happier now that I don't have a TV. I mean, seriously! All they ever show on are Soap Operas. And I am absolutely sick to my gut of soap operas.So yeah...it really depends on the person: what does he think makes him happy...They say money can't buy happiness but with money you can buy TV!!!!!!!

It can if you use it right, most people can be happy getting the things they can. Which are usually things you don't buy (friends, love, etc.) everything else you more or less gotta buy. I've got a decent life, friends and a future. (I think). Everything else I want is needs money.

NO IT DOES NOT. But it could if you are really disturbed like mentally disturbed. Here is an argument:Yes: money allows you more time, and we all seek more time. This could come from having caretakers for kids, an assistant, a personal chef, etc. This control over your time leads to happiness.No: without our busy lives comes the satisfaction of getting stuff done for ourselves. Take that away and dissatisfaction sets in. You start to lose touch with reality and become unhappy.What do you agree with?

It can to an extent. Some things can't be bought with money, but you can't overstate its power as a tool.Of course, if you can't use it effectively, it might just give you problems. In that case give some to me.

Over at the Debate part of the forum someone said the smartest thing about money; "it can help fight UNhappines" .. And it's so true.Money can't buy happiness but it is sure hard to be without sometimes.

No trust me, money cannot buy happinessMy coach was making 100 K in business and than quit his job to get a teaching degree where he will be making 45 K a year(hes currently in his final year of schooling)Love is happiness.. Be with whom you love, and do what you love.

It doesn't "buy happiness" per se, but it just creates a joyful feeling. Ofcourse that feeling only exists while you are buying something so it doesn't last long unless you keep on spending which inevitably leaves you out of money then you won't be very happy anymore.

Yes it can. In my opinion.You can use money to make yourself look better like fixing any physical injuries, etc., get a better education, and with money, you can ensure that if you ever get married with the one you love, you can at be sure that family can live in peace.
