Yah this is why they invented pirated games. Anyway I find computer games expensive but if you wait a month or two they go down alot in price. Same with other consoles. They put them out for like $30 on that greatest hits collection.

Of course their over-priced. I mean, they might pay like 50 cents to make the game, and sell it for 100. Thats cheap ;)

I don't think they're too over-priced. The price is certainly a deterrent to buying games I don't abbsolutely want, though. =)

Yeah, games are too damn expensive. But then again they put a lot of time and money into making them. Thats why i wait until they are cheap to buy them. Cus here in the US a new game is like 50 us dollars.

I know most people like to buy right away, but I always wait about 6 months... I don't need to be the first to beat a game, on my block. Even if I do buy it the day it comes out, I'm always the last to beat it.And because I wait, I normally get my games for half of what they were originally asking for it.Do you guys remember when XIII first came out? Game was like $50.00 US... I bought it a month ago for 9.99, brand new.

You don't need to be a hacker to do that. Probably 75% of the people on this site can do it and many of them aren't hackers.

I don't think you need to be a hacker to DL a game do you? I've downloaded plenty of games in my time, and I'm not a hacker.Or was it just coincidental that your friend who is a hacker, just recently downloaded a copy of Halo2 ? :D

Games are highly overpriced, the profit turnover is much more than needed to pay the designers.

It really depends on what your buying and when...I bought Metroid Prime around Sept 2004, brand new for $30 Aus, and tomorrow I'm getting TOS for $50 by trading in 2 games, in Electronics Boutique. Also about 2 of my games are 2nd hand (cheaper). But otherwise yes I'd do think games are over priced here in Australia :D

I'd have to agree with that. :)Also, new games tend to be overly expensive especially after its just been released ... Some people tend to wait a while, until the price drops down somewhat, and then buy the game. That is, if you're really patient.

hahaha. I bought a Neo Geo with every game that was released for it for $75 off of ebay. I can't complain about game prices. The most I pay for a game is $55 US, and that's only for special edition versions of games.
