I could do without ever having kids. The world has too many people, and there's not much point in reproducing. Overpopulation is a problem not too many people see or really care about. All they want is kids, and then 30 years later, you can't go outside without bumping into someone. I mean, sheesh, look at China. It's too overpopulated even though it has a One-Child Policy. It was passed to stop overpopulation, but it's still overpopulated there, and the people just don't care.So, on the count of environmentalism and overpopulation problems, I'd rather cut off my own "thing" than have a kid. In fact, I'm going to have myself one of those surgeries so that I won't be able to reproduce PERIOD.

... I can somewhat understand what you are saying.... but dude... consider WHY. There are families (poor) in China that "don't care" as you put it because they need a son. In some villages if the family's first child is a daughter, then they are allowed to have have another child and hopefully that is a son.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I completely forgot about the fact that in China, sons are preferred over daughters. But still, China should at least educate the people in school about the dangers of having a child. Maybe those old traditions will have second thoughts, and maybe the population WON'T increase billions by billions each year.Plus, the fact that girls are preferred over boys will completely destroy the population soon, so one way or another, something will be done about it. The amount of women as compared to men in China is terrible, there are like 100 women for every 120 men or something, and the number is getting more and more unstable. Soon, Chinese people will not only have trouble finding a wife, most will turn gay due to all the men everywhere, and then that will result in the downfall of the population. Babies will be made so rarely, there will be a negative population growth.
