tried it for gym. Had horrible aim and I was probably holding it wrong because I kept skinning my thumb

Tried it 3 times.The bow's string is kinda hard to pull back but that's the part of the bow where it gives the ACTION!

Never tried archery before; but I've seen Japanese archery (Kyudo) during my last Japan trip.

I've only done archery once or twice, but I knew I had some serious talent the first time I attempted it. It was at Boy Scout camp a few years back and I just had this uncanny ability to get the arrow within the third ring over and over and over again. Even I was amazed at how well I was doing.My instructor said he would let me use the compound bow if I could beat him in a shoot-off. Naturally, I beat him, with 2 bull's eyes out of 5 total shots.I just fell in love with the compound bow! Using an intricate system of pullies, it is ridiculously hard to pull the string back, but once you hit a certain point, all the tension goes elsewhere and you're left just holding the bow back, exerting barely any effort at all. It's amazing. Plus, the bow shoots arrows like twice as fast which surprised the hell out of me the first time I shot it. There was recoil! Hahaha! So much power in a compound bow...

I do archery every summer at my summer camp; if you hit the bulls eye there you get a dollar

I've tried it a couple of times messing about. I love all things that go ping, from slingshots to crossbows. I'd love to get a bow, think they can be quite cheap too

Not done archery before but would love to have a go. I get a bit romantic about going out and catching my next meal with one. Unfortunately by the time I got good enough to catch anything big enough or tasty enough to eat I'd have died of stravation. Boo to the animal killer

ive tried it and i sucked...a lot. I sucked so much, i couldn't even fire the arrow sometimes. There was this one guy that got an arrow stuck on the side of a cliff wall and he had to go and get it

Yep,ive tried it,but i left the bow for the crossbow,it's more precise and powerfull(it looks cooler too)

yes i have, but the only time i successfully fired an arrow into a target was in M & S at the Olympic Games lol
