I tried to learn I was okay at a bow,but then again I prefer a rifle more accurate and better range.

Yeah, it was during the fall and I was camping with some friends. We shot at a couple of targets and one friend sot an arrow that flew so deep into the woods, that we lost that arrow.

I've done it once at this country club, my arms hurt after a while! And according to a member there,*eavesdropping* someone got a 'Robin Hood' a couple of days ago. Don't know if it's true or not though.

I tried archery for school but they had a metal bow and arrow and I couldn't even shoot a single arrow that even hit close to the target :haha:, I really want to try archery with a wooden one though, maybe now as much strength needed?

I love archery; my dad bought me a recurve for my birthday, but the pull is insane. Still tons of fun though.

I used to be a big fan of archery and at one stage I was trying to get my own bow and arrow, however Australia is one of those countries that prefers it's population to not be armed, so very quickly I gave up on the idea and now I just stick to virtual archery! :gs: much more safe!

Yep I have tried it.. quite fun but the bows are quite heavy and your arms gets really tired after a while with it.. Its quite expensive where I am... More interested to try shooting ranges..

I like archery and am good enough to go hunting with a bow at times. I haven't shot at less than 25 yards for some time either.

Archery is the most fun I've ever had at summer camp and I would highly recommend trying it out once or twice.

I tried it once when I was a kid at camp, but that's it. I do wish I had the chance to really give it a chance, though. My favorite classes in games are those that specialize in the bow.

My mom was the Eastern Japan College Archery Women's Singles champion back during her college days and she took me to an archery range once. It was so much fun lol although it was Japanese style archeryI also did archery with friends once and that was alot of fun toohitting balloons pinned onto trees and stuff like that ^^

Twice. Once at a show the instructor positioned me on how to aim and how to hold it and then she said it was OK to shoot. And I picked it up again a few years later but this time it was just to return a set someone dropped by accident. The guy let me fire one off cause he saw how eager I was. XD

I made a quick bundle bow just to try out archery for the first time. It shot around 20 mph and had a 15 pound draw weight. Pretty pathetic but hey, you have to start somewhere.

I used to love archery, but my parents never let me really get into it, they said something about shooting my eye out or whatever. But it is amazing how people used to be able to accurately shoot bows from moving horses and such.

Guns are better than bows. I'd rather shoot bullets than arrows.
