I've never tried archery before, but I'd like to. It seems fun (though I wouldn't want to shoot someone by accident :()

yea i tried it once also at summer camp but it didn't go very well. it was awkward and the bows were huge!! way too big to manage hitting any target on first attempt, i prefer mini archery.......darts :(

I've tried it once when i went to this camp, but i think i was holding the bow wrong because the string would always snap agaisnt my arm when i release it and the arrow ends up going nowhere. I would really like to try again though. it seems like a really fun sport.

Have I shot a bow/arrow? YesHave I done archery? NoFriends all bought bows from an outdoors store. Was pretty fun, but not something I would really put a lot of practice into. Worst part was retrieving the arrows since the sets only came with a few.

I did Archery when I was like 10-13. I was in Boys Scout and such. My class and some other went to this place where we could practice shootin' bows. I also shot some in my school's garden. It was fun. Archery is lethal and awesome. Fun too.

Oh yeah, I've tried my hand at archery. Its really neat, and I was a rather good shot....however I always got irritated skin where the string would ricochet off my arm.... I guess I was holding it wrong...but they make gaurds for that so its all good if I wear one ^^

Yeah, at team exercise I couldn’t hold the bow the right way and so missed the target by quilt a way.

My brother has a bow set he bought in China. I tried shooting 2 arrows in one draw a la Legolas, one hit the target (barely) and the other shot straight to the concrete floor, dulling the tip. I had to replace that arrow.

i fired three arrows and was steadily improving (1st missed, 2nd hit the outer white ring, 3rd hit the inner black ring) till the dude at the stall stared at me in a rather off putting manner and i quickly left, but it was fun when it lasted XD

Kind of tried it once, bought like a 5 dollar bow and arrow thing from walmart. It was fun, lots of fun. Honestly an arrow could clear 50 yards easy. Then one day my cousin was trying to see how far he could shoot one. Leveled that thing like 30 degrees, arrow landed on another roof, and now that bow is dusting away in the closet.

I want to try archery but I think I end up shooting someone else instead of the target,I've been told i have bad accuracy :gbasp:,or I'll just end up hitting myself lol,But it is something I'd like to try if my parents would ever take me to do it.
