If it's a really good game I'd play through it just for fun or to get better rankings(if any) and also to see a different ending(if any)... and I almost forgot about unlockables

It depends. Well, games that allows you to take different routes, play different characters and stuff, I would definately replay them as long as they're fun. Examples includes the Pokemon series...

only if the game was soooo good or it took soooo long you forget what happens and you just have to play it again.

Yes...but not right after I have just beat/played the game...In order to keep myself entertained without buying new games, I have to play what games I do have over again...so what I do is have a sort of...game rotation, meaning that I play one of my games, then switch to another and go through my collection until I've played them all, then I start again...though, I don't play them in the same order, so I pretty much just randomly pick games and play them through...There are also certain games that I never get tired of playing (mostly SNES games) and those I can play through when I don't feel like playing anything else...

I don't mind replaying a game that I have already completed 3 times ;P Take FF7 for an example.

yeah, i would only replay a game that has multiple endings or allows me to take radically different paths.. or has a great customizable multiplayer, or is a simple game (like KoF that can increase in difficulty)

Most of them, but if it's an adventure that depends on it's story then not.

Metal gear solid games are short and fun for multiple replays - specially since you are ranked at the end and you can try other difficulties. Thats the case with many games so I usually try a new difficulty after completing the game.

Honestly, it depends on the game. FF7, for example, isn't very interesting to replay. There is very limited choice of characters and so on. FF6 would be much more fun to play, since there are alot of characters, so you can always play using different combo's. Leaving RPG's alone, most game are fun to play again - games such as FPS are great, since you just fire at things, and that's great. Adventure games has NO sense for playing it again, since they are mainly for puzzles and story line. (IE, you beat it once, you know the game). so I guess it depends on the genre mostly.

With certain games, I'll replay them, either if it's been a LONG time since the last time I played, or if it's a really good game. Take Gears of War for example, playing a solo mission on the lowest skill level is pretty different than co-op on max. Or role-playing games especially. At least then, something will be different, one way or another. :D
