Okay, I've read this topic and came to a conclusion that most of you are idiots.1. Adaptation. I don't know why all of you think that using a thumbstick is harder than using a mouse. If you know someone who has never used a mouse before (very unlikely), get them to use it. Notice how they maneuver as if they were drunk. You're so used to the mouse that you think it's the best way to move in a screen. I'm sure that if we were to use a thumbstick on the computer and a mouse on the consoles you would all still be complaining about the console controllers.2. Halo 2 is not coming anywhere near your PC as it stands, if ever.3.

There IS a big difference. Yeah, PC allows more options with a single button press instead of combinations for the Xbox controller. Xbox however allows easier accesiblity to the functions. Instead of having to hold a button on the number pad while tapping Q on the other side.. XBox let's you hit two on the same side, within fingers reach. They both have advantages and disadvantages.

This argument is simply nulled by that fact that all controls, whether on a controller, a mouse or a keyboard, serve different functions depending on their configuration and the game they're played on.

Yeah, but it doesn't matter, because the mouse ISN'T on consoles and the thumbstick ISN'T on PC. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm saying there's a DIFFERENCE.. douche.

What doesn't matter?If you read my post again, you'll see that you entirely went through it. People who have used a thumbstick more than a mouse will find the thumbstick easier to use. Period.For the sake of your good reputation in the forums, don't argue any further.

Anyway.. what should it matter? If you like PC games with the mouse and keyboard.. then good for you.Same goes for those who like the XBox and the controller.If you like it that way, stick with it.
