It's odd, but I find myself quite intrigued with what you can discover in Google Earth. There's always something new to spot and entertain you it seems, especially when you add in community input.Does anyone else have this same kind of opinion?

I think google earth is one of the best programs I've ever seen. You can travel to any part of the world without leaving your house.

Yeah, I have installed it for something else, now I can't get off of it, and when I do, there is some site out there that I visit that brings me back (things that are hidden somewhere, like a plane in the scan, or something like that FireFox cropcircle thing), always something fun

I used it a few times, looked at my house in Ireland, looked for the apartments in the HK where my aunt/cousins live then further into some other parts.I can't see myself getting addicted to it though, I got bored of it after an hour or two XD. My Geog teacher uses it though, but it's kinda hard to pay attention to him, he's just... So boring... :/

Just like many of the people abov me, I've looked at my house a few times, and I've also used it for geography lessons or when simply when i'm bored and have nothing to do. I don't think I can get addicted to it though.

The maps arn't really updated for my area, so it's not very cool when you see that you're house is still under construction when it's already built. =[

Guilty as accused. I tend to explore around areas I want to go and visit with the Google Street feature (I guess that's what they call it?), and it's a big, big curse. I wasted a bit of time on it for the last exams :P

Instead of looking at your house you guys should open the Flight Simulator and try CRASHING into your house, and then imagine the plane putting a hole in your roof and it landing in front of you .... I do that only crashing into the building I work at lol it fun :P

You mean the Joystick ... nope, you just use the arrow keys and a few other keys to control flaps, gears up or down, s or d to steady the plane on the current course you have, etc.

I like using Google Earth. It's a lot easier to see my house with Google Earth than Google maps.

For me Google Earth is kind of like a game. A vitrual game. Where you travel all around the world, maybe even plan 2 trips or so. Yeah, I do prefer using Google Earth, rather than using Google Maps. Heck, it's alot fun(ner)!

It has been a long time since I have last used Google Earth, but I have to admit it is one of my favorite programs ever. I love everything that is Google, and Google Earth is clearly a quality product.

I've used it before but I don't understand how it could be so addicting. When I used it I couldn't get any closer to my house or any other object than I did when I was on Yahoo maps lol!

I sometimes would "travel" in Google Earth for hours straight when it first came out. Freaking addicting! But sadly the images from our region are now almost ten years old, so there's not much new to see there anymore.
