It's your typical hack-n-slash game, Dynasty Warriors style. As others mentioned, it's just like the other Dynasty Warrior's series but with Gundam characters. Unless you're really into Gundam and know the whole storyline, the story will most likely be boring. I still play it every now and then when I want to just have fun without much thinking.

^ As Supammu noted, it's basically a DW game with a Gundam theme. And it's made by the same company. I also agree that it's good for thoughtless mauling, but not much more--even if you are a Gundam fan. If you want a game with depth, look elsewhere.

I played the demo for that game and it was ok but I still wouldn't buy for $60. Maybe when the price goes down i'll think about buyin it.

look i think they are just out of ideas. dynasty warriors are good but fusing it with gundam is just going to make the series stink. i mean gundam is not good any more.

i agree with the ones that love the game even if you've finished all modes for all chars with their original mechs you still have heaps left to do with them

I think you can get this game for around £10 now, so its not a massive loss if its bad.

Well, it's not an atrocious game, but they could have done a lot better with it. Sure they have a lot more enemies than in any other dynasty warriors game but there is a definite lack of action. Not enough moves, explosions, special effects, in-air fighting, and pretty much everything the shows had was lacking in this game. It's worth renting but not buying.

Its pretty fun if you are a dynasty warrior fan and a gundam fan. I thought the game was pretty good.

I would probably be buying this when I do actually buy a PS3, which should be soon with the price drops here and there. And I of course will be giggling to myself throughout the whole experience.

If you're a gundam fan and you like dynasty warriors games the buy it. I have it and I love it because is a game that I never get tire of playing.

I played only the demo, the graphics was plain, not fit for a PS3, the game play was alright though. Kinda 6/10 on my side.

The game is totally not worth buying, I bought it for the 360 and it was so short...it made me cry a little bit. It probably would have been better if you could have made your own gundam....but then i guess it would be dynasty warriors:armored core.....

I haven't played any gundam games before so I don't know about the other but I liked this one. A bit to simple sometimes and when I bought is was cheap, very cheap

I loved the DW games. And when they intertwined Gundam with the series I was quite happy about it. I liked the Gundam shows and to be able to play Gunams like you do in DW was awsome.

It's not that great of a game, unless you're a major Gundam fan. In any case, it's one of those games that you should rent rather than buy. It's basically the usual DW game-play, but with Gundam fan-service. They tried to put some storyline from the series into the game, but that didn't went well. In short, play it for the play; don't play it for the story.
