I didn't really liked it very much, I played it once and when I finally beat the crap out of Bowser ( This was the stupidest idea I ever saw ) I didn't really wanted to play it again...

Mario SUnishine is a great game with many different challenges. It could keep you busy for some time if you want to complete it 100%. I got a free towel when I preordered it a few years ago. :)

i think Super Mario Sunshine. Toted by Shigeru Miyamoto as the “properly evolved version of Mario 64,” Super Mario Sunshine is the GameCube’s first Mario game and one of the most important GameCube titles of the year. Coming nearly a year after the GameCube’s successful launch, Super Mario Sunshine is the reason why I, along with many people, bought a GameCube. Although supported by a cast of colorful characters, Mario is the identity of Nintendo and to a point of gaming; for the gaming industry and fans alike, it has been a long wait for the newest iteration of plumber. :gay2:

I'm a fan of Mario games and I must say I was very disappointed at this game for 4 reasons.1.
Spoiler
2. Yoshi was pretty lame in this game. The first time I rode Yoshi, I was very excited since this is the first 3D platform game that you could ride him. My excitement was brutally murdered when I touched water because the Yoshis of Delfino Isle die when the come in contact with water. The Yoshis that aren't native to Delfino Isle can survive just fine in water. I also hated constantly giving him fruit to keep him longer.3. It was pretty repetitive. The 7th episode of every level was always chasing Shadow Mario. The action stages (the levels where you lose FLUDD) were repetitive as well. Plus, you knew what level contained action stages as well because the title of the level usually has the word "Secret" or "Mystery" in it.4. Finding all the blue coins is annoying. They could have used the 24 shine sprites that you get from blue coins to make 2 or even 3 brand new levels if you remove the extra shine sprites that you can win in the action stages.

I really enjoyed Sunshine. I liked it better than SM64. Playing SM64 again on the DS just reminded me how much better Sunshine was. The warp levels are great. Closest thing yet in 3D to the 2D Mario games. I wish they'd make a whole game like that.

The action stages (the levels where you lose FLUDD) were repetitive as well. Plus, you knew what level contained action stages as well because the title of the level usually has the word "Secret" or "Mystery" in it.

I hated those, so much. I'd always get so close, then go to fall, and desperately try to click the jets, forgetting that I didn't have 'em anymore. When I first played the game, I just could not believe how much harder it was than Mario 64. I don't know if it's just a combination of the horrible Gamecube controller and the sheer excess of annoying jumps (that's literally all the game is, it seems..), or if it's actually just that much harder, but I can't think of a single game I've played since the first Mega Man that was so bloody frustrating. And the level design was so disappointing. Mario 64 had so many cool stages. Sunshine... ...Does not. Bleh.

I thought it was a good game. By no means is it my favorite but I'd definitely recommend at least renting it and playing it through if you don't want to buy it.

I would rate it 7/10.It´s nowhere near SM64 but it´s still better than most non-nintendo platform games out there today.
