Well!!I got a news for all Rockman zx fan's, a new released version of DesmuMe 0.5 fix can emulate rockman zx to 97%.

That may be so, but it can't emulate Megaman ZX very well. It's slow, and a gfx layer doesn't show in the upper screen. This is both with DesmuMe 0.5 and the WIP build in your link.

I tried to play trauma center on desmume and it keeps freezing is there anything I can do. I checked your links to look at the compatability lists and it said that it should be compatablegot it working

I can't test it for now but the version 5 and version 4 have different compatibility lists. All the early roms were tested with v4 and may not work on v5. Download v4 on www.desmume.com.

Version 0.6.0 is out!

DeSmuME v0.6.0 released! This new version includes graphic enhancements and fixes: * added support for window, transparency and brightness * fixed sprites and background rendering bugs * added possibility to resize and rotate emulation windowsA new interface based on glade is now available and support for gzipped and zipped roms has been added.

Just what exactly are those background rendering bugs?

The "background rendering bugs" are when the background doesn't show up. Same with sprites.

Usually what gives me a great idea of how far along the emulator has come, is monkeying with it using low-budget pc. ePSX I could run 3D games flawlessly (with extra speed, sound, and mp3 player running) on : 600mhz 96mb ram (OS= XP ) and 8mb video, and on a pc with 200mhz, 32mb ram, and 8mb video still smooth (without sound and added enhancements). Sure, if you have a powerful pc it can run almost anything, but to really test the emulator do so with half the recommended specs...that will show you how structured it is. You don't need a powerful system (all the time) to run decent games.

Nope. Just tried it in DeSmuME 0.5.0 and 0.6.0 and both say:"Data could not be written. Please turn off DS and reinsert game card."Which we all know you can't do on an emulator. So no. Unplayable on DeSmuME. You could try other emulators though.

you only need desmume-0.6.0win.zip - extract it and put it into any directory you want. just note that even if you associate .nds files with it, it won't run the rom automatically. you have to choose File -> Open then choose your rom.

Hix ^_^ no game can saveeeeeeeeeee

>.< For your information, all my games can save since desmume 0.5.0

Hi, I know DeSmume might not seem much for all the one who use NO$GBA, but, if you look back then you'll see that the one who won the 'final battle' for GBA emulation was VBA, and i think tha about the DS the outcome will be the same, VBA and DeSmume share many similarities like a user friendly interface, so i decided to Create a FULL and DETAILED compatibility list, just for comparison look at the description of game 0735:Here:

0735 - Castlevania - Portrait of Ruin (U) [Could not write the data]

There:

The game begins, a black screen is shown on the bottom and a graveyard on the top , if you wait too long the the movie starts playing(slowly), press 'a' 3 times and start pressing random keys till the message changes, then draw anything on the center and click right below the drawing area(that you cant see)(for help on this look on youtube for 'portrait of ruin'), then you'll see the story, and the the dialogs, once everything ends you're shown the map on the top and a black screen on the bottom with the hp/mp bars.

I'll be trying to add titles daily(or asap) so that we can have the list fulfilled as soon as possible, so if anyone wants to help me on this seemingly impossible to-do-alone task please replay, and if you want to send a game description use the form on the bottom of the list. The link is the following:http://desmumecom.to....com/index.html

I've test with Desmume v0.6.0 and Pokemon Trozei (Torouze, Link) can saveDesmume is a somewhat good emulator, despite lots of gfx errors, all function can be used easily (I means touch panel, keys)No$gba is better at graphic but the programmer have a lot of thing to do with the touch panel. Almost games play on that doesn't work mainly because there is no response when you touch the screen or the game react wierdly.

There's a list of "perfectly" working games here:http://www.dgemu.com...howtopic=204330And I tested a whole bunch of games (6GB to be exact) on DeSmuME 0.6.0 and posted them all there. You'll see that Pokemon Trozei is one of the games on that list.

All game are being tested on version 0.6, and I'll not delete the games, instead I'll burn em to a DVD, so once 0.7 is released I'll retest 'em, process which will go quicker this time since I'll have em with me, instead of having to download 'em.
