I was visiting the in laws and accidentally left my DS, and the new game I just bought(Sonic Rush), at their house. This wouldn't be such a horrible thing except my wife's parents live about 85 miles from us, and their youngest daughter, still living at home, is rough as hell on all her own gaming equipment. I was so worried that by the time we were able to get back there and retrieve it she'd have my DS broken. Luckily she's not a Sonic fan and didn't tinker with it too much.

The absolute WORST place I've left any of my portable consoles is inside a hot car. I also like to carry my consoles in my pockets.Other than that, I tend to take care of my consoles and don't really put them in places where they might break or get damaged.

Once, I left it in a classroom in school. I only discovered that it was gone after 3 hours. I started to panic, but then I found it in the lost and found. Turns out that there are good people in the world after all. The problem was, that the person found it in a lecture hall which I never go to at all, which meant that somebody probably stole it first and then left it there, showing that selfish and greedy people definitely exist too.

My lap and the bathroom. the first time we were on a long family trip, and we braked suddenly, sending my SP to the floor of the car. i thought that i would wait to the next stop to find it, and at the next stop which was an auto zone, and only my dad got out of the car. i took this opportunity to look for it, and i couldnt find it. -.-; i decided to look more throughly when we arrived, and when we did, my whole family helped to find it, but it was of no use. my sp and my pokemon leaf green hand disapeared out of thin air or was hidden somewhere in the recesses of the car... i still have no idea where it wentanother time with my NDS light i left it open on my animal crossing game, and i took a shower. after i had mostly dried off i climbed out of the tub and looked at my NDS and several drops of water fell from by hair onto the touch screen and the neck of it. i wiped it off right away, but apparently it had seaped into just the right spots that would distroy the touchscreen, making a bubble in it and causing the directional functions to malfunction and i could only go lower right. i let it air out, had my dad blow air through it, as well as take it apart, but it was no use, it was ruined forever!

The absolute worst place I've ever left my DS sitting was on the back of my friend's car. I watched as the car drove off, and my little crimson friend went flying off the back (the car took off very quickly, my friend was playing a joke on me, feigning leaving me in the parking lot). It bounced on the ground several times and I was pretty terrified, as the DS Lite was my first real purchase for myself since I had a decent job. I went to pick it up...And not only did it just have a small scratch on the cover, the game I was playing was still going. Gotta love Nintendo products. They're practically indestructible, haha.

Well, I lost my DS for like 3 weeks, because I put it on my bed, then I guess I probably pushed it into a small hole, which I couldn't reach. I had to ask my little sister to help me out to get it.

I left mine in the bathroom one time... Then my sister came in to take a shower. The steam from the shower actually managed to mess up my DS and it didn't read games anymore -_-'.

Dang. I Know There Are Good People In This World, But Yeah There Are Deffiently Bad. The Thing Was That You Shouldn't Have Left Your DS Out Of Sight! Especialy At School. When I Bring It, I ALWAYS Leave It In My Binder (Which I Take Everywhere), or In My Pocket. Even Then It Could Be Stolen. We Really Just Never Learn. You Were Lucky You Got It Back.PS: I Really Have No Idea Why I Wrote This. Just Venting What I Wanted To Say I Guess.Ohhh and here is what happened to mines. I Left My D.S. At My Cousin's House, And She Almost Stole It.

Left it at the school and a teacher found it. It was a problem, but I definitely didn't get into more trouble on behalf my DS the rest of the year! (Seriously, why go to the trouble?)

I once left mine on the front of a car when waiting for a pawn shop to open. I realize about half way through the visit that I left, it and it was gone. But the pawn shop had a broken DS lite that worked if you held it just right, ???, and well I got that until I could get a better DS lite.
