squirtle is good cause u can teach him ice type moves to kill ur rivals bulbasaur, ivysaur, venusaur

Squirtle. By the end of the game his defense is so high he's near invincible. His variety of skills also helps him to take on anything.

I chose bulbasaur as he his the greatest grass type starter pokemon to have - he really set the bar!

BULBASAUR FTW.Seems like Bulbasaur is the pokemon left behind according to the poll ha.Its pretty much the same throughout each pokemon game, I just love grass type.

I took charmander, but then i cheated to get bulbasaur and squrtle. I ended up getting rid of charazard because, if you raise your rapadash with good moves it is way more powerful

squirtle is da bomb once you get him to a high enough level it really helps out in tight spots even against its weaknesses and higher level pokemon+ya just got to love the turtles

Charmander, most people chose Bulbasaur because you could pwn the first two gyms easily. I didn't give a

I chose a charmander. Charizard had the better stats at the end of the game, so I decided to go with that. Once I had bought both cartridges though, I just ended up getting all three starters since that was fun and awesome.

I bought both red and blue at the same time. I used charizard in red, and blastoise in blue. I played them both about evenly, so technically i didn't start with either one first. I would say that I usually led with blue version before red, so on the poll I marked squirtle.For firered, however, I decided to pick bulbasaur. Bulbasaur is a good choice because he is strong against the first 2 gyms, resistant against the 3rd, and the same type as the 4th. Bulbasaur really pulls you through the series. I still do not know what i would choose if i could only have one, however... Most people just grab all three.

haha seems like everyone picked charmander...its cause tis more rewarding at the end of the game, the beginning is hard, but u vl him up so high it beats the first 2 levels

i always choose charmander because i like fire, tho if i could i would just go with pikachu hehe
